Hailee walked alongside Sebastian as they made their way to the dungeon. She was eager to see who it was that had been captured, and she was even more eager to kill them. She had been searching for this person for years, and she was finally going to get her revenge. They reached the dungeon and descended the stairs. The air was cold and damp, and the only light came from a few torches on the walls. Hailee could hear the sound of water dripping, and she could smell the musty scent of mold.

There was no place better than the dungeon to master his newly received skill. He used his stealth as he peeked at the party who were fighting the monsters on the fifteenth floor. The party had 2 mages, 1 swordsman, 1 spearman, and 1 healer. He quietly watched them as he took in every spell that both the mages uses. “Even adventurers from other regions come here for the experience. I think I chose the best place, right Blur?” Dio brushed Blur’s fur with his fingers and his bond purred in response.

he said as he stared at the burning building, and I heard from a distance painful screams from that building. “Grim reaper?” both my mind and mouth asked. I read stories about them from multiple books in my library. He shook his head as he whispered to my ear, “Non, I am Doom and I-“

For a heartbeat, the world stood still. Whether it was instinct or something deeper, Tunde nudged the shard behind a nearby crate of mining gear with the tip of his boot. He barely dared to breathe as the drones hovered closer, scanning the body, their sensors humming softly. They were looking for two things: confirmation of the kill… and the missing adrium. One of the drones descended with a mechanical hiss, red lights sweeping over the lifeless body. Another hovered in place, scanning the surrounding area. Tunde didn’t move. His fingers twitched slightly at his sides, the only betrayal of the storm building within him.

I had no idea how to explain things to her. Just then, the hugging bear on her bed moved. Its eyes started to glow red, and an eerie voice seemed to pierce into my ears. "Haha! I've caught you!" I screamed. Gavin ran quickly to my side. He inspected the hugging bear closely before speaking to me in exasperation. "This is just an ordinary battery-powered doll. It'll speak when you press this button." Gavin pressed the hugging bear's palm. "Haha! I've caught you!"

My stomach dropped. "What?" He nodded. "I hired investigators to find you after you dared to run from me that morning. It took them a week to find you." Something was slamming hard against my rib cage in a really violent way. I knew what it was. My heart. "I found out who you were—Matteo Leone, a twenty three year old bisexual man, living in your father's house like a prisoner." He leaned forward slightly. "I learned everything about you—your urm... useless family, and your situation within hours of funding you."

“Let me in! Are you alright?” “I'm fine!” I yelled back. My voice shook. I looked at the dagger. I couldn't leave it on the floor. I grabbed it. The metal was warm now. I looked around frantically. Under the mattress? No. Under the loose floorboard? I didn't have one. “I'm worried, Mira!” Maya shouted. The door handle jiggled. She was trying the master key. “I'm okay!” I shouted. “I just need rest!” The lock clicked.

“We now know who needs to provide a drop of blood. I’m assuming you need me and my light to help forge a stone like we tried last time?” Morgan nods at his question. “We do. And the gatekeeper. My vision of Rhett showed him using a special dagger to pierce the heart of the unknown gatekeeper. If I read my vision correctly,” Morgan turns to me, our gazes meeting. “You need to find this dagger.” “And where do I find this dagger?” I ask, expecting at least a general location. But that’s not what I got. “I don’t know,” Morgan says solemnly. “The tree,” Tala pipes up excitedly. “The tree in the drawing could be a clue.”

Currently, we are standing in front of the dungeon entrance we're about to enter. Its location is beneath a tall cliff. The dungeon door is three meters high and two meters wide. At first glance, it appears to be a regular cave entrance, but the guild has determined it to be an underground dungeon based on reports from an adventurer who discovered it first. The entrance is covered with dense shrubs, and wild grass grows around the path leading to the cave. It's difficult for us to approach the dungeon as there is no established footpath. This location is truly untouched and unexplored.

There was perfect silence, and not even knitting could actually kill the boredom which was gradually seeping in. “Oh, wait!” I said, under my breath as I recalled something which created a surge of excitement in me. It was the dungeon. The dungeon had a particular path which Liam, Lucas’ beta, didn’t take me through. The dungeon seemed really old, as well, so maybe; just maybe I could find something, anything. I rose to my feet immediately, and picked up my phone, then looked around. “What else do I need?” I said, under my breath, scanning around.
