The early morning light filtered through the curtains as Sophia groggily navigated her way to the kitchen. Despite her accomplishments as a lawyer, there was one thing she couldn't quite master – getting up early. She had known since her school days that she was a night owl, and no matter how hard she tried, waking up early remained a daily struggle. Her demanding job required it, and it wasn't getting any easier. She sighed and rubbed her eyes as she prepared her morning coffee, the aromatic brew gradually pulling her into a state of alertness. Just as she was beginning to feel more awake, her phone rang, startling her.

Today promises to be a beautiful day. This morning is unlike any other I've woken up to see in the past eighteen years. I open my eyes to the sound of my alarm at 5 a.m and I couldn't stop my usually grim face from splitting into a huge grin. Gone are the days I would sleep and wish I never wake up

Before I knew it, a week had flown by in his home. It wasn't as bad as I expected, but it still wasn't rainbows and butterflies. I followed the same mundane routine everyday like clockwork, rarely straying from it. I quickly caught on to the fact that Benji was an early riser, something I am not. Everyday he gets up no later than seven am to start his day before going into the pack house. I'm not sure what pending documents await him that he needs to be there so early, but he always comes back drained from the long day.

Slowly, he closed his eyes, bidding farewell to the night. As the morning sun began to cast its gentle glow through the windows, Kelvin stirred from his slumber. He rose early, his mind focused on the task at hand. In the kitchen, he prepared a simple breakfast of toast and tea, the aroma wafting through the air. The clinking of plates and utensils filled the apartment, a comforting sound of morning routines.

~~~~~~ When I woke up, I remained inside my room just like the past four days, and I only go down when I either the Alpha or someone would call for me to go down and eat already. After I am done showering and doing my morning routines, I waited again, for someone to call me, and then the door swung open. I was surprised at how early it is that someone was coming, it was still 5:30 AM and usually they call me for breakfast at or before 8 AM. I always wake up early, around 4 AM, it has already became a habit due to the works I had to do in the past years before the sun breaks. “Good, you are awake.” The Alpha uttered.

The moment I saw what the time was, I sprang up, unconsciously moving the woman’s hand from my head and detaching her from my body rather roughly. “9:45!” I exclaimed in disbelief. Maybe my time was not correct. Maybe there was something wrong with my phone. Maybe… or maybe not. There was no way I would wake up by this time. I was an early riser who had difficulty sleeping. Most nights, I don’t sleep and just lay in bed till it is morning. Me sleeping till ten in the morning was something I would never agree with. Never, not me! I looked back at Sapphire who turned on her back and then opened her eyes.

I scowled at the gaping Miles who had now put us into trouble. The first morning of the weekend, I was woken up with Cara straddling me on my hips. The sun had just risen and it was normal for her to wake up early. She was probably the first person I’ve ever known who was indeed a morning person. I appreciated the fact that she doesn’t pressure me to prepare something for her according to her demands. Ironically, she lets me do things at my own pace.

Auroras POV -BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. Rolling over to hit snooze for the fifth time today, I thought to myself ugggg why do mornings have to come so early? I mean it feels like I just closed my eyes an hour ago, but nope, it's now 6:00am and I am late, or late enough. I will barely have time to make it to breakfast after showering and heading to the office. Coffee, that’s what I need ASAP! Thank Goddess my mother bought me a Keurig when I moved out last month.
