Jeremy’s alarm clock blared at the ungodly hour of 4 AM, a harsh reminder of the day ahead that demanded an early start. He groggily shut off the alarm and rubbed his eyes, the weight of sleep clinging desperately to his eyelids. With a sigh, he peeled himself out of the warmth of his bed, leaving behind the comforting silhouette of Alexandra, who lay undisturbed, breathing softly in the cocoon of blankets.

Eight Mason Crescent I had a routine. I got up early, about six o' clock a.m. in the morning. I would do a quick workout, get showered, and then I would eat something healthy for breakfast before my driver would come and pick me up to work. On this particular morning, I woke up and started working out. I couldn't even lift the weights. I fell to the ground, and that was the last thing that I remembered was darkness. SHEILA I wake up with a start, groaning at the sound of my alarm clock blaring in my ear. It's Monday morning, the bane of my existence. I rub my eyes, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep, and glance at the clock. 7:30 AM. Great, just great. I have precisely fifteen minutes to get ready for work. Why do I always hit the snooze button one too many times?

Lily I woke up that morning to the sound of loud voices echoing through the house. It was unusual, the kind of noise that pulls you from sleep with a sense of urgency and dread. Groggy and disoriented, I pushed myself out of bed, rubbing my eyes as I tried to make sense of the commotion coming from downstairs. The clock on my bedside table read 7:00 AM, far too early for such chaos. I threw on a robe, my heart already beginning to race, and hurried down the stairs.

ROSALIA'S POV: I was jolted awake due to the repeated and persistent blare of my alarm clock. Disoriented and with sleepy eyes, I took a glance at the alarm clock: It was 7 am. The early hour is definitely not my favourite time of the day. I don't really like to miss the chance of sleeping in unless I have to go to work. Yes, I am definitely a sleepyhead!

6AM Amelia woke up with a feeling of excitement, having had a good night's rest. The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across her room. She stretched luxuriously, savoring the lingering comfort of her dreams. The quiet hum of the city waking up outside felt like a gentle symphony, matching her buoyant mood. As she moved through her morning routine, her excitement grew. She chose an outfit that made her feel confident. After putting on her dress, she took a moment to admire her reflection in the mirror, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Charles’ POV Charles had always been an early riser, but that morning felt different. He was restless before dawn, wide awake by six, already half-dressed when the coffee pot in his private office sputtered to life. The caffeine wasn’t helping—it only amplified the pounding rhythm of his thoughts.

Just sleep—deep and kind. Nice. Too nice. My eyes flutter open. Sunlight spills across the room, warm and golden, and I squint slightly before reaching for my phone. Something feels off. Too bright. Too still. I unlock the screen. 11:58 a.m. I blink. Once. Twice. “…what?” I sit up, staring at the screen like it personally betrayed me. I’m an early bird. I wake up before the sun has fully decided to exist. This—this is unnatural.

Ruhi also completed studying and we two went back to bed. The sun raised as usual. I woke up early today and stretched myself. It was five. I woke up too early to be honest. I head out of my room proudly because I am not a morning person. How nice it feels to wake up without mum's scolding early in the morning. I texted Veronica who is a morning person and said I would reach office early in the first bus which goes to my office stopping. My dad who was reading newspaper literally serched for his specs inorder to make sure that it is me and not Ruhi. And trust me when he came to know that it was me, his reaction was priceless.

I was past midnight by now. "Why is your top wet? " He asked. I looked at my top then to him. "Yeahh. A girl started crying" "Ohh. Did you cry? " He asked. "Will you drive? " I shot back. "Some one is cranky" He mock me. I eyed him but couldn't stop smiling. Some people are worth keeping. The next day I woke up early like 8 am early, and that too without any alarm clock. I got ready and grabbed my purse.
