Love Fools

Love Fools

Frankly, I've never understood why they changed the name of "The Feast" to the "Nutrition Center." Over seventy percent of the food here is high-fat, high-calorie "American fast food." Given we're in one of the most remote towns in America, finding diverse and multicultural chefs is even harder than getting truant students to attend class. Vegetarians even staged a public protest at school, leading to two chaotic weeks of everyone bringing their own lunches! Can't blame them, though—other options are either atrociously bad or might as well be diet pills.

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

Rewinding My Reaper Boyfriend

He touched Elion’s arm. "You aren't there anymore," Cale said. "You are here. With me. And I have the calculator." Elion let out a breath. The panic receded, just a fraction. "You're good at this," Elion said. "I've had to be," Cale said darkly. "Resources are finite." "What does that mean?" "It means get the Greek yogurt. It has more protein per ounce." They continued. Cale was a whirlwind of efficiency. He bought lentils. He bought frozen spinach ("Nutritionally identical to fresh, half the price"). He bought a whole chicken instead of breasts ("We use the bones for stock").

Trading Fine Dining for Light Meals: Collective Regret

Trading Fine Dining for Light Meals: Collective Regret

I watched the messages scroll across the screen and felt absurdity settle over me. Later that afternoon, a knock came at my office door. Lindsey walked in confidently, standing her ground. "Mr. Shaw, I'm here on behalf of the staff's health. We really can't keep eating like this. We want the company to provide free, healthy light meals instead of food that puts a strain on our bodies." While she talked, I noticed her most recent social media update. A photo from an upscale restaurant accompanied by the caption, "Nothing says hard-earned success like sea urchin and premium beef."

they said in a low tone. "Do you think that's fair to her?" Their eyes drifted to Emma, who was loading the dishwasher. "No," "No." "Also, it is important to have a balanced diet, so we can grow properly, be healthy, and be happy. I know you don't like these foods right now, but I can assure you they are not so bad. Actually, they're very tasty, and good for you too. You just have to have an open mind—and mouths too, to see how good they are,"

The Pack's Secret Keeper

The Pack's Secret Keeper

“The vampire is right – junk food is just wasted calories.” “Yes,” Rhett sniggered responding to Tyler’s grimace. “Heath is rigid on the concept of good and bad food. At home, we have one take out night a week. Otherwise, it’s balanced meals, heavy on the veg, all around.” “I like your arses,” Heath replied with a hint of maliciousness. “I want to keep them functioning properly. Plenty of fibre, fruit and vegetables.” “Well,” Tyler set his beer can down. “If dinner is under control, let’s get painting.”

Roza
Like the book but always find it a pity that stories on these apps end with rape & abuse victims forgiving and forgetting (basically: with a simple sorry and a few tears) what abusers did to them. She has lifelong trauma and probably Stockholm Syndrome but no actual justice for this poor girl.

Ok so this book is… SO GOOD! The writing is on point with very little errors. The storyline keeps you glued to the pages. The past to present is different, sometimes I just want a few chapters where it’s not going back and forth. I love the characters growth of Aislen, and now the boys. Must read!

she shuddered, "gross." "Well, I think eating healthy is a smart idea," Aimee said, already holding her sandwich in her hands. "We could probably all eat a little better." "Aren't you trying to get in tune with your wild side?" Karla gave Aimee a skeptical look. "Water isn't a brick along that path." Aimee ignored her sister. "Thanks for lunch, Mom. I appreciate it." Karla took a bite out of her sandwich. "I always appreciate free food."

Married for Revenge

Married for Revenge

She went to the back a little laid on the long chair, her eyes closed, and that was how she slept all through the journey. I stopped at the mini market, hopped down to lock the doors after parking. I walked into the stinky area to buy plenty of vegetables. Tye talked about it again, sounding a warning to myself and Amelia, asking we don't miss a vegetable treat in a day. “How can I eat vegetables every day?” She cried. “I am not a goat!” “You don't have to eat just leaves in your food, Mrs. Ethan,” the man said, clasping his hands on the table where it was. “You should eat fruits, take beverages, and even add plenty of water to your list of diets.”

Together, We Conquer

“Yeah, that’s fine fine! So uhh… what do you want to eat?” “I’m not sure.” It’s very hard for Singto to think about food, since all he can concentrate on is calories and gaining weight because of it. He can’t simply say what he wants to eat, eat it and feel satisfied. He needs to control the amount of food to know exactly what he is taking in. And this is the exact behavior Kris is trying to break. “Okay, well when I say a good home cooked meal, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?” He watched as Singto bit his bottom lip, looking as though he was lost in his thoughts.

Billionaire's Pampered Wife

Billionaire's Pampered Wife

Her heart was filled with guilt. Prior to this, she would keep overeating during meals so that she would gain more weight. She thought that Sean would dislike her if she had gotten fat. However, she would finally be free soon, so she should not be overeating anymore. Eli ended up only eating a piece of steak. She had learned from Natalie to chew her food slowly, pairing it with red wine to increase her body's metabolism. Natalie smiled at her, lowered her head and continued to eat. Feeling a shadow approaching, she looked up subconsciously and saw Frederick Addington.
