As he reached Alaia and me, his face broke out into a huge smile. “Welcome home, Xander, Luna.” I could feel Alaia’s body tense up a bit when he approached, but I understood why. Matt was a warrior as well, and a well-trained one at that. He kept very fit, and with his perfect smile, dirty blond hair, and baby blue eyes, he was a lady killer without even trying. He just had an effect on women, even if it was harmless and unintentional. “Thank you, Matt. It’s good to be home. Now would you please put on a shirt so my mate can take a breath?” I said with a laugh.

I knew exactly who that was. “So close…” I muttered to myself as I turned towards the voice. “Oh hey, Matt. What’s up?” I started to walk backward, praying that maybe he would get the idea that I didn’t want to talk. “Have you seen Harriet?” Matt sheepishly grinned. Matt was tall with thick curly dark molasses-colored hair pushed on top of his head by a sweatband. He was strong but not really muscular. He had dull gray eyes that only held any real emotion when he had his tongue shoved down my friend’s throat.

This man looks familiar, though, and as he shakes my hand, I remember I’ve seen him with Nolan before. He was also the man Andy was trying to talk to earlier that turned Andy down. I’m not sure why he didn’t want to talk to Andy, but it had made my ex-boyfriend angry enough to storm off. “Ms. Davis, that was quite a good save earlier,” he says, grinning and shaking my hand. “I’m James Reed. I was impressed by your display earlier with the Princess’s mess and would like you to come to my company Monday morning for an interview.”

“If you think Theodore’s bad, just wait until you meet Matt’s publicist. The woman makes Machiavelli look like a kindergarten teacher.” I couldn’t help but smile. I tried to stop myself from laughing, but as soon as Layla started laughing, I broke and joined her. Someone called and it felt I was tapped out of another realm and returned to reality. I turned round to see Durelo looking at us with a strange expression on his face. "Shit..." I muttered under my breath.

She stares at him and then rolls her eyes. They start snickering for people who are finishing school next year their maturity levels are shit

Matt said with a smile. “What’s your title?” Nora asked him. “Delta. Wyatt and I are on the same level below Dante.” Matt said, yawning. “Can we go back to the going to war comment.” Nora said, looking at Jace. “yeah sure so war like- "Matt." Dante groaned. "What?" Matt blinked looking at Dante. "I'm going to bed. Nora the food was amazing thank you." Dante said getting up and nudging Matt to come on. "Uh..ah yeah Nora, great food. See ya tomorrow." Matt said, still confused about getting up.

"Hey Matt, don't go near the restaurant. Chey's there with some guy. And you don't want to see them." "Game on." Damien chuckled. Matt saw the message. "What the hell?" Matt thought. Matt goes to the restaurant. He sees Chey eating and laughing with some guy. He steals one of her fries and she playfully smacks him. He laughs then feeds it to her. After they're done the guy puts his arm around her shoulders and they walk out laughing. Jealousy burns into him like never before. He wants to rip the guy's arm off and throw her over his shoulder and take her to his room. He never should have walked away and left that note.
