Charles glared when he saw that I wasn’t alone, but before he could say a word, Eddie stepped forward. Eddie stiff armed him and strode into the apartment. I glanced at Tristan uneasily, but he nodded to encourage me to enter. So, I did and Tristan followed me in and closed the door. “What the hell is this?” Charles demanded. “Did you forget about the letter you sent, Charlie?” Eddie asked. There was a wide smile on his face, but it was almost eerie given the anger in his eyes. “You said you wanted Astrid to come see you before the weekend.”

“You alright over there, man?” “Fine,” I muttered, shifting uncomfortably in my seat. “Let’s, uh, keep going.” We managed to proceed for a few more minutes before Edie made her grand return. This time, the call went completely silent. “What now?” I whispered under my breath, already dreading what I’d see when I turned.

Eddy said and pretended he did not hear his son throw off his argument to move back to the room he once shared with his ex-wife Tracy. His submission, however, drew the attention of his son and it now dawned on him that he wore a white shirt over the blue trouser of his blue suit the day before. “You do have a point,” Charles said and looked at his body. “You do have a point,” Eddy said, mimicking his son as Charles smiled. “What happened, son? You dozed off last night before you could say a word.” Edward informed him. “You said there is fire on the mountain. What fire? And what mountain?” Eddy asked Charles who had reached for a mouthwash and filled his mouth with it.

I said quickly. "Oh.. Bullshit." Eddy erupted, causing everyone to gasp. "I know something is going on. first the sunglasses and the weird sleeping habits, now this?" Eddy accused, moving from his seat to me. "Eddy, please." I begged as I raised my hand. Elizabeth entered the shop with a small panel, ripe cherry colour, where it was written in moving letters, bright green: "Everything for everyone." That panel was a flying one and probably if you were ignorant and went past it, it would wobble in front of you until you walked inside, into the little store. As she stepped inside, she heard a harsh voice like that of a professor who scolds his student for not learning the lesson: “WHAT DO YOU WANT!?” Miss Edwards didn't know where the question came from, because there was no one there. She looked very carefully in the store so small and narrow, that almost no other person could enter. But she saw no human face.

She nodded and quickly took this Edriana wherever it was she was going.
