I forgot the party for a second—Eden Vale updates were rare, and I'd been waiting for this one for literal weeks. I dove onto the bed, grabbed my phone, and tapped the notification before I could even think twice. Big fucking mistake! The new chapter was a sex scene. A very hot one.

Tom headed to the back, passing Shirley on her way out. Edie sat in the passenger seat, leaned back, and closed her eyes. What a day. She doesn't want to think anymore. Tom arrived a moment later. Standing amidst the rubble was Eddie. His clothes were shredded and scorched by spellfire, a deep gash tracking down the left side of his face, spilling blood onto his neck. But he was alive.

I crack the gun and aim forward. The blazing body moves out of the flame, its body is as dark with cracks as charcoal and smoke evolving out of it body. The wind blows the little flame on it burning body, and almost immediately it opened its bloodshot eyes. Instantly, I felt like someone who just sights a ghost as I read the anger written all over its black face. In a millisecond, millions of questions floods in my head. Eddy's voice snaps me out of my vain thoughts. “Contact!" He shouted at the top of his voice.

“I have received the remaining harmony from him and also cleared off my debts. I drop at his feet, no one can save me even if I scream and yell for help.
