A horde of skeletons rose up from the ground, armed with swords, spears, and axes. Edna charged forward, her sword flashing in the dim light. She cut down the first few skeletons easily, but more kept coming. They were relentless, their bones clacking together as they advanced. Edna spun, slashing and parrying with all her might. She could feel the heat of Belphegor's breath on her neck as he watched from the sidelines. But she refused to let him get the better of her.
