Figure skates have one. You're fighting the ice because you don't know how to find your center." He didn't answer. Just pushed off harder, trying to prove me wrong. His left foot slipped. I moved on instinct and grabbed his arm before he ate it. For half a second we were locked together - my fingers wrapped around his forearm, his hand gripping my shoulder for balance. No — not walked. It assembled. Pieces of bone rolled toward one another — ribs, femurs, vertebrae — clicking into place with a sound like teeth tapping. When the last piece rose from the pale floor, the skeleton stood nearly seven feet tall, lean and terrible, a crown made from jagged ivory twisting above an empty skull.

Another voice said, quite huskier than the first voice. With a fast speed like lightening, she felt her hair rose up with the impact of the energy that came with the speed, and she felt someone gripping unto her arms, a long sharp teeth, making way to her arm, and she tried shaking the creature away, but the skeleton, seemed more stronger than her, as the skeleton gripped her hands, plunging his teeth on her arms, a sharp piercing pain ripped off from her mouth, as she shouted, with all her might, the pain unimaginable strong, but quickly, the pain stopped, it stopped just as quick it started, this felt strange.

She sighed and stared at the young boy’s firm eyes. “Fine. You can properly bury your mother but we need to burn her body. We still don’t know anything about zombies.
