POV: Vaelor The sound of the chains rattling in the dark was unmistakable, and I knew before I even saw the first flash of armor that Draeven hadn't just sent the hounds, he had sent the Unspoken. These were the elite hunters of our pack, men who had given up their voices and half their humanity to become specialists in bringing down rogue wolves, and they carried silver-weighted nets and crossbows designed to pierce even the thickest hide. I grabbed Ilyra by the arm and hauled her out of the Hollow, ignoring the way my leg screamed in protest, because we couldn't stay in a hole and wait to be netted like fish in a barrel.

The Hunter's voice is distorted, like it's been layered with something deeper, something inhuman.

She approached us, wearing white clothes, hair opened, and one eye was bleeding. The familiar black cat was behind her. "AGHHH! G HMMMM!" She screamed in a demonic sound. Low pitched and cracking every time she yelled. I got chills down my spine when she was in front of me. So, she was Lisa Dorling. When she gasped, I could feel my breath halted. She glared at us and left from there. "Appreciate that you were in this jail. Otherwise, you were dead." I was starting to get suspicious. What was all this happening? Anxious, unsettled, I was losing hope.

Jones hired her to come after you and the rest of the pack.” I stopped, looking at him with shock. “Really?” I started laughing. “She has no idea what she’s getting into, does she?” Earl shook his head. “I think we need to take this one seriously,” he said. “She’s the best out there. There were rumors he would torture them a little if they were reluctant to “invest” in him.

Mass chaos surrounded them. Alonso's men were falling to the ground one by one as Hunter glanced at his mom. She was surrounded by Draken's men in a protective shield. Hunter charged into the woods where he saw Silvia and when he got there, there was nothing. Not even her faint scent but he wasn't stupid or hallucinating. He was damn sure it was Silvia. He shifted back and wore the sweats that one of Draken's men handed him. Glaring all around he walked over to his mother while his claws disappeared along with his canines.
