Elijah Twenty-Five: Corbin I wasn’t paying any attention to Eli. Really, I’m not watching as he is chugging drink after drink of the wolfsbane laced alcohol that is being kept away from the humans. I’m standing around the bonfire enjoying the attention that my new friend Davis is giving me. It feels good to have someone that looks a lot like Eli paying me attention instead of hating on me. I’m still confused over last night and this morning. I know I had told him it is best if we stay friends. I mean what would be the use of telling him how I feel when he will be meeting his Fated Mate, then I will a day later. There just is no sense doing that now.

Nico just scoffed, "Believe me, Xander, I'm pretty sure you can lie out of this one, plus Layla may be a Bronwyn but she's not a genius." My brows furrowed as he said that. She must be the Lord's daughter. I didn't even know he had a daughter. "I heard my name!" An unfamiliar voice sang out. All three of us turned our heads to the left to see who said it. A blonde vampire strut towards us, smiling as we all looked at her. Xander quickly sat up straighter as she approached. I leaned back against Nico out of nervousness, but couldn't help but look over her features.

I yelled, pulling myself from the mattress to the headboard. My inner wolf was beckoning on me to run, not see him as my mate. "I-I'm looking for Damon! I need to see Damon!" The smile disappeared from his face, going cold completely. He froze, his hand hanging in the air. The heat rose in the room, and I felt it set on me. "Damon?" he repeated, his voice soft in a strange way. "The Alpha who rejected you? Is that your first thought after giving birth to my children?" His sudden rage overwhelmed him. The power aura rolling off him was thick, and I felt like I was suffocating.

Ithia knocked him with her elbow. “It appears that I am at a disadvantage,” said Elijah, digging his nails into the desk until it hurt. “You both know who I am, but I am afraid I cannot place either of you,” he lied. He wanted to hear it from her, wanted to prolong his ignorance as long as possible. “Forgive me, Alpha Elijah.” The man ducked his head. “You know my daughter, not I.” It hit him like a bolt of lightning. The olive skin, the golden-brown eyes. “Maveln? Maveln Cole?”

So, he couldn’t cure himself until he had a special elixir. Unfortunately, the elixir’s recipe was long gone. No one should know that those three ingredients could affect the vampire. It should become a myth but he was wrong. “Who is your lord?” He studied Elijah carefully as he tended his injured arm. “Lord Shadow.” Elijah gathered her breath once again. “Lord Shadow?” He tilted his head as he wrapped his injured arm with his own torn shirt. Elijah smirked. “Don’t be stupid.” She launched her attack once again. “She is strong.” She threw the knife.

Unlike Katharine, he had no traces of magic within him, just a natural born hybrid like myself. "Honestly, mommy, there are children present, you can't just say stuff like that." Katharine scolded, but her smile betrayed her true intentions. Mikaela walked to Katharine, kissing her on the cheek, then promptly shoved Elijah into her arms. Elijah squealed in delight as his older sister made fireflies appear above his head.

Alice nodded, taking out a journal. “Swap for swap?” Alice asked, casually. Eli just watched in utter bewilderment. They had interacted with vampires before but they’d never been this… Calm? Eli looked at Mikael, who seemed equally impressed and horrified. “Yeah,” Peggy nodded. She looked up at Mikael who hesitated before jumping back over the river with her in his arms. Eli and Archer knew damn well that his instincts were screaming at him not to do that. “Ok, so, he’s your mate?” Alice asked, gesturing at Mikael, who looked vaguely offended.

And, out of morbid curiosity, she examined the ankh circa, but when she touched it, something pricked her finger and caused it to bleed, just like in her dreams. "What the—" she exclaimed as she backed away and sucked her finger to stop the bleeding. She returned her gaze to the man after making certain that her finger was no longer bleeding. "I need to know if he is who I think he is." Cyrille was about to check on the man when she heard footsteps. "Damn it! Who is it? What brings them here?" She cursed under her breath and ran away. After a few moments, she noticed two priests conversing. "Nu este încă treaz? (Is he not still not awake?)"

The man said and Jane glanced at me, “I’ll talk to you later….” I nod my head and sigh. I can't keep seeing her like that. She looked so miserable, and I knew she knew and saw something, but she was too scared to tell me. I walked back to my car with a frown on my face, wondering who might have broken into her house. Could it be Elijah? No, Elijah doesn't attack homes. He killed his victims by inviting them to his secret club, drinking their blood, and then killing them. I went back to my car and gripped the steering wheel tightly with a frown on my face. I couldn't just let it go and let those vampires attack me, my friends, or my family.

Meeting a vampire in real life whose name was Damon. "Who?" He frowned. "Vampire Diaries. Ring a bell?" He shook his head. "Never mind then." I sighed. "My name is Damon Cullen," he stated. I gave him a long look. This was suspicious. "Do you have someone named Edward Cullen in your family?" I questioned. "No, and I don't know why you're stating all of these names. Besides, I don't have a family." I got disappointed at his answer since I was kinda wishing he would've said yes. His whole existence is just a huge coincidence.
