Ell Books Novels & Stories

*FLASH BACK* (Ella explaining) Ella reading a book, that book is very old, by looking anyone can say it is more 200 years old, book is very fat with thick pages like the books using in ancient times. This book contains a different types of plants showing many advantages and there are some insects also. This is the book Ella’s father gave her telling this belongs to their ancestors and they are carrying, studying from it and filling their own research in it, Ella also doing the same.

"You should read more books. Ellie. Books are like ladders of progress for werewolves." "Oh yeah? Do they also include 'XX Bedtime Stories', 'One Hundred Thousand Whys' and 'Those Mysteries of the Universe You Don't Know'?" "What's that supposed to mean, Ellie?" I ask. She picks one of the books I got her. "Jack and the Beanstalk? What nineteen-year-old girl reads childish folktales anymore?" "That's relatable to our legend, Ellie," Chris calmly says. "But not to mine," she protests. "Thanks, but it just isn't what I was expecting."

He had anger outbursts and constantly got into fights at school. Finally I turned my attention to my personal email and one in particular caught my eye. The subject line was interesting, “The Deserving,” I clicked on it and read through it as I got goosebumps everywhere. It was an email from Malachi. The email I’d been waiting eight months for. The text of the email was one line and in code. Nice Malachi, I ran the decoding program I had and each letter decoded a paragraph. It took the program an hour to run through the message and decode the correct sequence.

The archives smelled of smoke. Not the cozy kind from the hearth, but the acrid, chemical stench of magic—faint, but enough to make Elara’s scar tingle. She’d spent three days buried in Eleanor’s journals, and still, the words “the fire comes next” burned in her mind like a brand. Ellie sat at her feet, sorting through a pile of leather-bound books, her tiny fingers tracing the sigils on their covers. Every so often, she’d pause, tilt her head as if listening to a secret, and tuck a book aside.

After that he stood and left me in the room. Now barely an hour later he sends me a trunk full of books. Ella moved to stand behind me and I could hear her sharp intake of breath when her eyes landed on the books. "They're beautiful, right?" Ella only nodded her head and leaned down to touch the spines of one of the books. They weren't really books to be precise, well they were books but not really big ones, almost like journals, just bigger and fresher. The covers were embossed in a beautiful flower pattern, each color having a flower of its corresponding color on it.

Ellena just happened to bring out the dishes when Elaine called out to her, "Mommy, come and see my painting." Ellena put down the dishes and walked over. Elaine pointed to a red line drawn on the paper, "This is Mommy!" Ellena smiled calmly, "It's really beautiful." Elaine pointed to a green line for Edward to see. "This is Ebird." "Why is it green?" "Green pepper is green!" Edward thought for two seconds. He looked at Ellena and said seriously, "It looks good."

her mother asked as she walked into the living room. Ella ducked her head. “Nothing.” “It is obviously not nothing.” She brushed her wet cheek against the shoulder of her Disney T-shirt. “Someone sent me a book.” “What book?” Her mother peered from her shoulder, her eyes widened. “The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Your favorite book when you were a kid. Your grandma gave that to you, did she not?” So her mother did remember. “Yes.” “Who was the sender?” “I do not know. It is not signed.”

Eleanor was in the library. Ellie pointed at the hills. “What?" she said. It was currently her primary question. "Hills," Cassie said. “Why hills?" Ellie said. "Because that is what they are," Cassie said. Ellie looked at this answer with the skepticism of a three-year-old who considered it insufficient. “What do hills do?" she said. “They stay," Cassie said. Ellie processed this. "Good," she said.

"Pssh. I know I act childish 100% of the time and I am dumb when it comes to computers, cellphones and technologies but I excell in Academics. I remember Gideon and Scott can't even believe that I have high grades. I mean intelligence doesn't mean you know everything. It comes with the territories." "And don't even start me with your teachers and parents. I want to say bad words to them but that's not my style. I'll let Gideon and Grey handle them." Mommy Ella winks. Why did that wink frightens me? Mommy Ella sets up our classroom inside the library. She brought out children's books that you saw in pre-schools. "So for the last few days, I read all the things I should do to help you Sunny to
