The room seemed to fade away, the noise became distant, and all that mattered was that I was safe in his arms. That’s where I am now. It's written all over his face he's not used affection like this so I scoot closer to him, my arms still wide apart. "My arms are beginning to hurt you know." I whine, arms jiggling and outstretched. He just stares at my outstretched arms for a while, either calculating the odds or contemplating to see if it's a good idea to hug me at the moment but he later gives in. I just pat his back soothingly and he sighs into my neck.

She wanted to get out of his arms, but her body would not follow. After all the exhausting events earlier at MNA, she needed this kind of comfort. She needed someone to hug her like this. It was true what the articles she read on the internet said about embracing. There are many benefits to it. One of them is that it lowers stress and is truly comforting. Now she could understand it even more. His chest felt so warm too. It felt really good. She could no longer restrain herself. She closed her eyes and felt his broad chest on her face.
