DESERTED EMOTIONS

DESERTED EMOTIONS

Dolah's POV After preparing for work, I left my house feeling upset about the large sum of money my boss accidentally sent to my account. I couldn't believe such a mistake had been made, especially when I was in desperate need of money. Feeling frustrated, I walked towards a taxi that had pulled up on the side road. Opening the door, I got inside and the driver started the car. Although not exactly friends, the driver and I were familiar with each other. My anger still simmering, we drove for a few minutes until we reached the TZ company. After paying for the ride, I stood in front of the imposing building and let out a sigh. Stepping inside, I noticed that everyone was engrossed in their ta

My Ex-Girlfriend is Trending Again!

My Ex-Girlfriend is Trending Again!

The arrival of Black Friday was like the beat of war drums, throwing the entire market into a frenzy, an unstoppable surge like waves crashing against a storm-tossed shore. Emily sat at her desk in the WhaleTech office, her posture focused, her eyes glued to the screen. Her fingers moved rapidly across the keyboard, each keystroke sharp and crisp, embodying the rhythm of her urgency and determination.

The Ex-Wife’s Mega Comeback

The Ex-Wife’s Mega Comeback

“Tesla. See the volume spike? That tells you traders are piling in. When the market opens tomorrow, you’ll know whether to ride the wave or step back.” Her lips curved into a faint smile. “So it’s not just numbers, it’s psychology.” Franklin watched her closely, impressed. Teaching Scarlet had never felt like this. Cassie absorbed information like she’d been waiting for it her whole life. “The market is human emotion dressed up as math,” he said quietly. She leaned closer, intent, curious, too close. The warmth between them shifted into something heavier. With a flick of his hand, the screens changed again, morphing into glowing blockchain networks.

Classy Lady J
It’s time for Nathaniel to let go and just be her friend, she’s never going to be more than that. Jonathan needs to take a chill pill because he’s never going to be more to her either than just a friend. Franklin will be her everything and more. We could use another update today if possible. Thanks!

Suggestion/feedback:however,totally understand as author decides on the plot & has their own writing style. In this book, there are several side stories that go on for not only 1chapter but several chapters focus is on the other characters/couple.So it can be $ spent not on the main characters story

Four Alphas One Revenge

Four Alphas One Revenge

Not through confusion. Through calm observation. “I don’t feel anything anymore.” My chest tightened instantly. “What?” I sent sharply. The reply came slower. Measured. “I feel… balanced.” My stomach dropped. That wasn’t balance. That was flattening. Emotion stripped down into neutrality. No fear. No pain. No trust either. Just… absence of conflict. Nathan swore under his breath. “He’s erasing emotional variance,” he said. My eyes widened slightly. “No he’s standardizing response.”

What Separates Me and You

What Separates Me and You

"You should be mopping the floor. I don't need you here!" Seth ignored her and explained, "Market fluctuations are indeed normal. They can be low sometimes and high other times. It can suddenly increase several times or drop to the bottom. But I've never seen such a consistent increase before." Josephine closed the document and said, "Go clean the floor!" "What's the rush? I can clean the floor any time. But there's one thing I must remind you of. Doing business is not about being emotional. You must learn how to manage people and recognize their value.

Rayna Pelkonen
This is one of the saddest female leads ever. It keeps getting worse for the FL. The plot is unclear. The reason for him being with both women and his feelings are unclear. It’s entertaining but not very satisfying. Like to know what his feelings are towards them and hope things get better for FL.

Book was a page turner until I got to the end and then had to start reading 1 a day. Some closure to MsJenkins and divorce but not fully closed. No real character development and Josie is getting worse. I will keep reading for now but may be jumping ship soon if Josies situation doesn’t get better.

Tangled Hearts: In Love With My Ex Husband's Boss

Tangled Hearts: In Love With My Ex Husband's Boss

His fingers were flying across a mechanical keyboard, tracing streams of glowing green data lines that mapped out international wire transfers. "I can't stop the bleeding, Vance!" Jameson shouted without looking up as the heavy security door clicked shut behind us. "The short-sellers are utilizing high-frequency trading algorithms anchored in Switzerland. They are flooding the market with synthetic shares. We need twenty million dollars in cash reserves just to stall the margin call for the next hour, and our liquidity is locked up in the SEC escrow account!" "Look up, Jameson," I said, stepping into the harsh light of the monitors.

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

She had her hand on his shoulder, a silent anchor in the storm he was about to unleash. "Are you ready?" she whispered. Ethan looked up at her. He touched the worry stone in his pocket—a habit he had never broken. "I'm ready," he said. The clock on the wall ticked to 9:30 AM. The bell rang. "Execute," Ethan said. He hit Enter. The algorithm—Project Prometheus—woke up. It didn't flood the market with a single, massive buy order. That would trigger a trading halt. It was smarter than that. It fired thousands of micro-orders, buying shares of Voss Industries in random, jagged intervals that mimicked high-frequency trading noise.

The Debt Collector's Price

The Debt Collector's Price

They're reading his stress levels. The algorithm requires a human "dead man switch" to bypass automated SEC trading halts. A biological pulse to authenticate every transaction as "human verified." Hale isn't a digital ghost. He is a prisoner. A man kept in a state of permanent, waking torture to serve as a liability shield. If the trades go wrong, the algorithm blames the human operator. I look at the cumulative return counter ticking in the corner. $7.2 BILLION. That is the price of thirty-five years of being a battery.

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

Chapter 179: The Residual Ash The second day of the lockdown had. The financial district below the Blackwood-Vane infrastructure was no longer in a state of panic. It was numb. The high-frequency trading desks downtown had stopped trying to buy or sell Vane assets. When a big entity like that disappears from records the market just stops trying to make moves. It builds a wall around the empty space and treats it like a big unknown. Inside the suite the light had changed from a warm golden color to a cold pale purple as the winter sun rose over the East River.
