Adamn yelled. They wanted to end the process but there was no turning back. It was now or never. "Calm down everyone, maybe if we ignite more flames, things might turn out okay." Jay said. The look on their faces spelled out distress, it was unimaginable that they would risk their lives for something that might not even work, it was a gamble and yet they took it, but it was different when it was about igniting flames. "Jay you bastard, do you know what you're talking about, and how can you not be freaking out." Adam yelled.

“Light it up. Explode the whole building. Let everything burn. Leave nothing but flames and make sure he doesn’t make it out alive .” I hung up. Stefan Lombardi was about to learn what it really meant to play with fire.

I turn my head to the festival tents, where orange flames dance on the fabric. Bran and I act quickly. "Get the water barrels!" I order, already running toward the flames. The pack reacts fast. Warriors extinguish flames quickly. Bran drops a burning lantern into the ground. "It must have caught the fabric." The fire gets contained in minutes. The damage is slight, yet my heart races. Bran faces me, wiping soot from my face. "You okay?" I signal yes. "That could have been worse." He smiles. "We make a good team, don't we?"

Outside, the sky burned red. Inside, I smiled. Because this wasn’t over. Not yet. Through the flames, Eve stepped unburned. “Hello again, Mother,” she whispered.

Another pressed in from the opposite side, bold enough to reach toward her, only to shudder back as the flames flared. Her chest heaved, a dizzy rush stole her balance, She staggered, clutching at her pack for support, but the world tilted hard. The red light seems to thicken; the room narrows down to the scent and the movement. The fire pulses with each name, growing brighter. Shapes move within the flames, indistinct at first, then slowly becoming more defined. But it's not enough. So I do something that would have terrified me a month ago. I improvise. I lift my head and look directly into the fire, letting my eyes adjust to the otherworldly light.

“It’s done.” I nodded, lowering my weapon. “Burn everything.” As we drove away, the glow of flames lit up the night behind us. “What now?” Enzo asked. I leaned back, the adrenaline fading and the pain roaring back. “Now, we rebuild.”

There was something glowing in my mind that was about to explode. The fleeting feelings of unknown was at the center of my thoughts. At this moment I am a prisoner in a free world. Every corners of my mind seemed to speak by themselves and my heart seemed to be in ablaze. I stared blankly at the bright light in house in daze. It was like my eyes were roving around for something which I was not there. Something beyond its reach it persisted and jammed my heart with queer thoughts. In this night, I felt like embracing somebody. My heart felt lonely and devoid while my whole body seemed into be in flames.
