“Send the pages. You have twenty minutes.” I didn’t need twenty. The prose had been written on the kitchen floor at midnight – the revised ending scratched into my notebook while his heartbeat ran steady under my ear. I cut the terminal scene. The grey concrete, the empty security lines, the ambiguous distance. Replaced it with the gold band. The floorboards. The boy who’d learned to stay in the room until the freeze cleared. The characters ended up together. Not because romance demanded it. Because the TRUTH demanded it. I’d spent three hundred pages documenting the real, and the real ending was that he stayed and I stayed and the kitchen floor held.

'' I got up from the chair and started to look for the exit of this fucking looking labyrinth mansion. ''Do you want me to show you where the exit is?'' Aaron says with a sarcastic voice. I turn and glare at him, tears still running down my cheeks. As soon as Aaron saw my face, regret formed on his face. I got out of the kitchen, and I could hear Aiden calling my name. I didn't care. I just wanted to get out of this house, but suddenly I felt dizzy and everything was spinning. And after a second, everything went black.

The air between us felt tense. He suddenly sighed. Afterward, he looked at me and said, "Let's head home together later." His face was brimming with anticipation. He was eagerly waiting for my response. I was just about to turn him down when Scarlett walked out of the private room. She looked drunk and was currently staring at Zeke with glazed eyes. Then, she proceeded to lean onto his chest. Zeke was carefully observing my reaction. He tried to push Scarlett off of him, but he wasn't able to do so no matter how hard he tried.

He stared at her in disbelief before collapsing into a heap. I took advantage of the chaos to escape. Before long, I saw Anthony’s car nearby. He was searching for me. “Hurry, Serena’s going to kill me!” I cried. We quickly made a police report. By the time we arrived back on the scene with the cops, we found Serena sitting on the ground and holding Cyrus, crying and laughing at the same time. “I really love you, Cyrus! You can’t leave me.” Cyrus was on the brink of death, lying motionless in her arms. The cops took them both away, while Anthony and I went home.

I needed to find the right headspace for a character who was finally surrendering. The scene we were filming today was very intense and emotional. My character was supposed to stand at the very edge of a deep cliff. In the story, my character was saying a final goodbye to the two main characters, played by Sebastian and Stacy. After this scene, my character was going to leave the city and start a new life far away from all the trouble she had caused. It was a moment of growth, regret, and change for the character.

"Alright, everyone! That’s a wrap on Scene 42. Take thirty, and when we come back, we tackle the finale!" Jeffery’s voice booms across the studio, and for the first time today, I actually let out a breath that doesn't feel like it’s being squeezed out of my lungs. My shoulders drop about three inches. We’ve been at this since five in the morning, chasing the "perfect light" and dealing with a fog machine that had a mind of its own.
