Anne whispers in my ear, consoling me. “ What the hell am I supposed to tell — tell Enzo now? That I slept with a random stranger and he marked me and I am going t—to die? ” I sniff, placing both my hands on Anne’s arm which is placed around my shoulders. “ You don’t need to tell him anything yet. We have to figure this out first. ” Giana heaves a heavy breath, saying in a strange irritated tone. “ Who was this man? You really don’t know? ” Anne pulls away, gazing at my tears stricken face.

“What do you mean?” “I need something strong.” Melissa dropped her handbag on the arm of the couch and made her way into the kitchen with her stained blazer. She dumped the blazer into the washing machine, then went in search of the strongest drink they had in the fridge. Shutting the door of the fridge, Melissa came face to face with Emily. She sighed. “I bumped into him.” “Who?” Emily frowned. “I don’t know. I don’t know his name. The stranger.” “What stranger? Of course, we just moved to this city, everyone is a stranger.”

This name actually left me shocked because it was unexpected. “Are you sure it was Enzo?” I again asked because it wasn’t common, Enzo is Ella’s cousin and I must be pretty confident before I confront him. “Yes, Capo. I was shocked and confused at first then I dug deeper for more proofs and I found true. Enzo Bianchi works for those Mexicans and Chinese as a spy to sell information for money. He has plans to settle in Zurich next year.” He said. I sat down on the bed to wrap my mind around this discovery.

Unnoticed, forgotten. Ethan stirred awake. Sunlight spilled across the suite, and he reached for a glass of water. His eyes caught the necklace. The delicate gold chain. Heart-shaped pendant. He held it like a treasure, something precious, priceless, the weight of it heavy in his palm. A strange smile crossed his lips. I said “That is good. As for that person, I want to see what they are really after, so I'll let them have their fun for now. If I'm not mistaken, they might even give me a clue about what happened to Gia and my parents.” His tone was calm but I knew that he was not at all. Enzo's obsession ever since I knew him was to find out how his sister disappeared and the mysterious circumstances about how his parents died. I couldn't blame him though. I was just thankful that Gia had returned lessening the obsession to an extent.

Alessandro snaps causing me to look down at the floor, the rest of the giants in front of me scoffing under their breath's, mutters and whipers being said which I can't make out. "Well I'm Enzo. As you already know." He teases, making me giggle sligtly, each of their faces looking at me in awe. What did I do? "You already know me." Tio teases coming over to me and giving me a small hug. His warmth comforting me with these strangers watching me like I'm the most pure thing they've ever seen. I notice the dirty haired man make his way over to me. Now that's he closer I can clearly see the green colour of his eyes. The colour standing out against the colour of his hair.

Because he's still taking medication for his injuries? “Hey.” I put on a smile to seem normal despite my chaotic thoughts. “Fancy some fake wine?” Enzo says with a slanted grin, his deep-set blue eyes baggier than I remember. The dimmed outdoor lights make his beard and wavy hair look darker, emphasizing the sharp angles of his face. The first time we met, I thought he looks like that guy who played Damon Salvatore. Just slightly older, taller and tanner. “It's light.” “Sure.” I sit across from him after he hands me a half-full glass. “Thanks.”

Scarlett’s POV “So,” I said, leaning forward on Enzo’s bed, frowning at the television, “he’s an alien?” “Yeah.” Enzo rubbed my knee, but his gaze didn’t once falter from the screen. “From the planet Gallifrey. And he travels around in a blue box that he stole…” “No, go on.” My lips twitched. “And the plastic?” “Is alive.” He grinned and, at last, turned to face me. “I’m sorry. We don’t have to watch it.”

Enzo made to enter his car, his phone vibrated in his pocket and he pulled it out thinking it's Rana. "Hello, what do you want" He asked. "Hello Enzo" Came a strange voice from the other side. "Who is this?" Enzo asked with a frown. Somehow he recognized the voice. "Your soon to be nightmare" The voice responded. "What do you want Harrison?" Enzo asked. "Tssk.. I know you'd figure out who I am. You're really effective yunno. I can see why Dominic likes you a lot" Enzo was quiet listening to him.

Besides, what could he do about it? “Just a long day. Did you find anything on Enzo?” Alarion’s expression shifted to business mode, and I felt a small wave of relief. At least one thing in my life could still be straightforward. “Not as much as I’d like,” he admitted, pulling up files that appeared as smaller holograms beside his face. “Enzo Cesario. Born in this dimension thirty-four years ago. Kidnapped at age nine by unknown assailants—reports say he was missing for approximately three hours before being found wandering near his home with no memory of what happened.”
