Arya Saloka adalah pemuda biasa pencari kayu bakar di hutan, tanpa sengaja suatu hari ia menemukan bayi di tengah hutan. Setelah penemuan bayi yang baru lahir tersebut akhirnya ia memutuskan untuk mengasuh dan membesarkan ia hingga besar. Bayi kecil tersebut bernama Rangga.
