(ARIELLE'S POV) A couple of shots later, the air was more loose around us and we were both laughing at a silly joke he’d made. I couldn’t remember what it was but I laughed so hard my insides began to hurt. “I think my intestines just exploded inside,” I joked, and we broke into another round of laughter. I looked around half consciously, to be sure we weren’t disturbing the other customers. “Think we’re too loud?” I whispered to Jared.

I am damn straight. I might be an asshole but I love ya pussy. My gaze glanced at the two idiots in front of me and my stomach crushes at their silly jokes. On the other hand, Eros seems suddenly quiet catching our attention. "What's up, buddy?" I furrowed my brow, curious about his sudden change in demeanor. Come on, I am not in for another surprise. "Hmmm, GadgetGeeks company is about to drop a bombshell tomorrow afternoon," Eros disclosed, piquing our curiosity as he nervously ran his tongue over his bottom lips.

Cyrus uttered. He, then, watched the piercing glares around, and he felt the joy of succeeding on ruining the mood. Cyrus stared at Eric and said, “Did my joke offend you, brother? I hope the dear Mr. CEO will forgive this silly man.” Eric forced a smile on his lips. “The joke made me laugh so hard inside,” The CEO responded. “You are really a considerate leader. I need to learn more from you,” Cyrus said before he looked at Haidee.

She shook her head. “Nothing.” But she knew they wouldn’t buy it. “It’s just… just a joke I read.” “Seriously. What joke?” Justin asked, raising a challenging brow at her. Shit! She had to make up a joke really quickly. She cleared her throat. “N-not all men are annoying. Some are dead.” She faked an angelic smile on her face. “Ha-ha. That’s really funny,” Justin said, faking a laugh. Then in a more serious tone he said, “You know, technically speaking, it’s office hours. But don’t think of me as your boss. Think of me as your cousin—who could fire you.”

They laughed even more at what he said. "Sure. That's all, sis. Small thing." Mariz joked. "Why don't I just crawl into your room, sis?" Anne joked. "You're expired Anne." It's a joke. They were laughing again at Winchester's answer. “If I am expired. How about you, sis?” she asked Winchester back. “Over qualified sis.” He answered. They are all laughing on his answer that is very far from Anne's question.

Micah’s words came rushing back, and warning bells went off in my head. “I was just joking,” Sera said quickly, laughing when she caught the look on my face, or maybe the lack of one. I continued staring, not finding anything remotely funny, and the laughter died on her lips almost instantly. “I am sorry; that was a horrible joke. I was just trying to cheer you up, and now that I think of it, I shouldn't have done so, especially after all that had happened.” I listened to her sincere confession, watching as her eyes widened with desperation, pleading for me to believe her. "Got any jokes of your own?" She sat back, shaking her head. "No... I don't really like telling them." Kidd slumped in his seat. "Not even one? You don't know any at all?" His voice was almost pleading. Sera scratched her head, hearing the earnestness in his tone. "Wait... let me think." "Yes! That's what I'm talking about!" "Uhm... what do you call poop you aren't sure about?" The car went silent. Kieran slammed on the brakes, pulling sharply to the side of the road as tires screeched against asphalt.

I laughed as I had the phone squeezed between my shoulder and my ear as I tried making breakfast. Megan's voice went hoarse instantly as she laughed like a maniac. “If you end up dead, I'm killing Erin too. Nah, none of us will be left alive if you die.” I couldn't help but giggle like a kid.
