Standing behind her, cut from shadow and instinct, was Ryder. He was stark naked, the muscles along his back and shoulders tightening and shifting as he drove into her mother with a relentless, unthinking force. His large hands were tangled in Bethany's blonde hair, dragging her head back as he snapped his hips forward with enough power to make the heavy bed frame creak in protest.
