"We figured that we would let you stew a bit after getting us in trouble once more with your smart mouth" he says as he continuously types. Maximus starts stomping his foot in irritation waiting until Xander is ready to answer him. "All right, simmer down. The answer is simple really. If we have our own religion here where they consider us to be barbarians we would need a way to wed to get around their laws. So, a proxy marriage comes into play. As Magma pointed out she and Igneous have busy schedules and since they could have planned a wedding not knowing a fire would occur, they qualify for

"It's not really that easy for top-ranked Lycans to find their mates, especially after the war during which most females were slaughtered. Seth, Hunter, and Dario, who are Gammas, were the only ones to successfully get their mates. Orion took a chosen mate. Liam, I believe is in a relationship, and that left room for only Kyson, Creed, and I, as the only single Men in the Castle. I remember they used to tease us about it." I smiled as I looked up to the sky remembering those times. "And oh, of course, I forgot; Father too! He refused to take another mate after my Mother. He always says that nobody can take her place. He…" I stopped when I looked back at her to find she already dozed off in m

Blake finally confessed. “Cough, in my time, polygamy was the standard, and powerful men had three to five wives and many concubines. When you gain more power, the male libido will also increase. I’m not telling you to get with all the women in the world because it’s unhealthy, but having multiple partners will satisfy you and lessen the strain on your one partner.” Gerold finally stated. “Well, let’s put a feather in the cap for the time being and cross that bridge when we get there. I have more willpower than you think.”

The mine’s shutdown had ripple effects far beyond profit margins. One woman with a son who needed therapy. A man with an injury no one would treat now that insurance was frozen. I listened. I held their hands. I gave what I could from our own emergency fund. Quietly. Without cameras. But still, whispers followed me everywhere. “She’s married to Barlowe, right?” “Isn’t he the one under investigation?” “Thought they had more class.” I bit my tongue. Smiled when I had to. And when I left, I sat in the car and cried behind my sunglasses.

"Besides, in two weeks there's the Dionysus Festival. It's a shame I won't be able to invite some of my friends, but it'll still be fun." "You know, one of the things I can't quite get used to is this whole thing about your pack being polygamous," Rachel commented. "Well, some people in the pack are monogamous. But come on. I'm the daughter of Dionysus, do you think I would be monogamous?" I nudged Rachel, who let out a giggle. "Besides, look at that, my Mate's wolf is called Sin, as far as I know, Lust is still a sin."

William observed her discomfort in front of him as if she was wondering how to deal with this circumstance without appearing weak in front of him. “You began your path with lies, the result of which your grandfather has given you today, so you reflect on it. I have no doubt that with your immense power, you could arrange even a child." With a raised head, Monica addressed him. If William's grandfather was taking this seriously, Monica was at a loss about how to handle it. She would never wish to take her game to a deeper level, such as conceiving, and neither the contract address any sexual intercourse. “You can't be sure that my family won't ask for a DNA test, and I can't reveal the truth

"DON'T TOSS ME AWAY NOW! YOU MADE ME LOVE YOU AND YOU PROMISED TO LOVE ME. YOU PROMISED ME, GIO!" Abi hugged the woman to her as she looked at her fiancée. "Don't you get it Gio, she doesn't want to be some man's housewife. She wants to be YOUR housewife. Fiona wants to care for YOUR home, YOUR family. She wants YOUR babies. NOT SOME MAN'S YOUR'S! She wants what society says she can't have. But she can have it. We can all have it." Gio looked at her and shook his head. "I can't marry all of you. While incest among consenting adults may be legal here polygamy isn't."

Enter Davien. It must be really bizarre for him to see his twin doing the deed with me since they both have the same face. Did he see himself instead of Damon? Was he repulsed by it? What if… Had they ever considered that? No, I am not into something polygamous relationships. No, I am not against everyone who’s into it. Nevertheless, I am one hundred percent accurate that it does not apply to me. It’s not for everybody. It’s not for the faint of hearts.

“With our other halves, producing offspring is almost guaranteed. Rarely does a pair not produce one if not several kids. This is why, when the proposal is accepted, we choose to be more or less exclusive for a year and a day, long enough for the opportunity for a fertile couple to have at least one child. If the relationship is not working, or a child is not produced, at the end of our trial marriage, we are set free to love as we would, without limits or reservations with the hopes of someday finding a better match.” “Exclusive,” I step out of the tub where he has a warm, thick towel waiting in his hands. He signals that I lift my arms and he begins to pat me down gently, making his way do

My silent plea behind my words alerted Zayden, he questioned me cautiously. “So, you’re trying to say that my bond with you will help you whether I don’t reject Aria or mark you. Then what about me and Elmer? Are these rules suggesting that we have to live with you together?” A sickening wave of acid welled up from my stomach, burning my throat, I couldn’t hide my disgust for multiple mates. “I have no intentions of toying between two men.
