A Luna To Her Triplet Stepbrothers

A Luna To Her Triplet Stepbrothers

“Jules might not have baked it, yes. But, he assisted me in getting the measurements right. That counts for something, no?” “What do you call them?” I asked, pointing at the tray in front of him. “The cookies you made, I mean. They ought to have a flavor or something like that.” “Oh, yeah. They’re spicy cookies.” Cole said, scratching the back of his head. “Spicy cookies?” I raised my eyebrows at him. “I’ve never heard of those before.” “Well, now you have,” Cole said as he placed one on a plate and handed it over to me. “Here you go, try it out and tell me what you think about it.”

The Sound Of Your Heart

The Sound Of Your Heart

he said, chuckling, and I couldn't help but chuckle too. "What have you got there?" He asked, approaching the table to pick up one of the chocolate chip cookies. "We've got my favorite chocolate chip cookies, a delightful blend of chamomile and lavender tea for you, my brewed coffee, and of course your favorite hot chocolate for you to take home," I said proudly, showing him what I made for us. "I think I'll come here more often; I liked these chocolate chip cookies, and of course for my favorite hot chocolate," he replied.

Dear CEO, I Want a Divorce

Dear CEO, I Want a Divorce

Then he closed the book carefully, sliding something between the pages, and stood. I turned my attention deliberately to the counter. “Tre caffè, per favore,” I told the barista. “Spanish latte, hazelnut latte, americano. And five croissants, please—due alle mandorle, tre al cioccolato.” My voice was steady, casual enough to sound practiced. Footsteps behind me. Steady. Unhurried. “Elisha.” My throat tightened, but I kept my gaze on the neat row of glazed pastries, their shells shining under the glass. “You’ve confused me with someone else.”

I like the sex of the protagonists. I like the evil of the antagonists.I like that Elisha has many love choices and rivals. I am still waiting to see her rise victorious over her enemies and her Ex husband's control.

Dumped by the Don, Crowned by the Mob

Dumped by the Don, Crowned by the Mob

"Shall I get Susan to make you something? Or could you order in?" After he left, Susan Barlowe made me a plate of over-salted pasta. And now, I was no longer curious about what the midnight treats were and who they were for. My throat felt a little dry, so I got up and headed to the kitchen to get a glass of water. In the kitchen, the air was heavy with the rich sweetness of coffee, cocoa, and mascarpone. He was making tiramisu. He layered biscuits, soaked them in a coffee liqueur mixture, spread the cream, and dusted cocoa powder on top. He was so focused that he didn't even notice me standing at the door until I fetched a glass.

Hired a Gigolo, Got a Billionaire

Hired a Gigolo, Got a Billionaire

Madeline's POV "So, which of these options do you prefer?" The pastry chef smiled as she arranged an elaborate selection of sweets on the white marble table of her boutique. The place was one of those expensive Belmonte spots—pale pink walls, crystal chandeliers, and a display case that looked more like a jewelry store than a bakery. "We have gourmet pistachio chocolate truffles, coconut truffles with Brazilian nuts, caramel fudge bites made with artisanal dulce de leche, and mini Belgian chocolate éclairs that have been a huge hit at this season’s events."

Mafia's Arranged Love

Mafia's Arranged Love

Before I could ask further questions, he continued, "With one of the most famous businesswomen, Ms. Casey Renaulds." Instantly, I tightened my grip on the knife and questioned, "What did he order?" "Fruit custard and espresso with no sugar for himself, strawberry pancakes with Vanilla Mocha Deluxe for the lady." I gave a tight-lipped smile before saying, "Okay, I will make it." Mr. Colleny asked with concern, "Are you okay, dear?" I nodded abruptly. "Indeed, I am." I made strawberry pancakes, fruit custard, and Vanilla Mocha Deluxe perfectly. However, I added three spoons of sugar in the espresso.

Found out at the end that this was a sequel. It didnt matter though because it was still good as a standalone. Awesome story! Read the entire book today...couldn't put it down! I think it was the twists and turns and the anticipation that kept me going. Great job!

Theodore, At Your Service

Theodore, At Your Service

Claudette responded. The maid named Leticia slightly covered her mouth. “Oops, my bad. I’m sorry, My Lady,” then, she grinned once again. “Would you like some, My Lady?” Claudette looked at the basket of cookies that the maid was offering her. The cookies had flowers engraved on it with a strawberry jam in the middle. She nodded and took the offer, getting one cookie and took a bite on it. Her mouth was filled with white vanilla filling and strawberry jam from the cookie.

Grey's Rose

What I told you, It's undecipherable. Our coffee come, mine was a caramel macchiato with extra whipped cream, Dex's was Mocca frappucino with cinnamon and hazelnut while Mark ordered a plain iced americano. It would be nice if we could just drink in silence but then, my wish isn't their command. So here is come, the bombardon of question. starting from Dex to Mark,

Red Velvet & Anemones (Pagosa Cliff, Book One)

Red Velvet & Anemones (Pagosa Cliff, Book One)

Milli carefully arranged the iced shortbread cookies the Church Ladies’ Auxiliary had ordered for the evening service on several large trays. She had made almost two hundred more than needed to make sure the twelve hundred she brought tonight were perfect. Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. McConnell had oohed and awwed over the blue and white iced stars. Each cookie covered in two colors of flares, swirls, dots, and loops; this filigree work had taken a long time. The six-pointed stars looked more like abstract snowflakes or quilted ornaments than cookies. They were art, her art, but they were also an offering, each made with a prayer for her son while she ignored the inevitable.
