Forgotten Vows Under the Moon

Forgotten Vows Under the Moon

You just stood there, unmoved, untouched, always looking past me. Always at her. But all I ever got back was coldness. You pushed me away when I wore lace for you. You tossed out the meals I carefully prepared. Your contempt seeped into your bones—and passed from your blood into our pups. They watched you. Learned from you. Ethan's fingers tapped nervously on the table. He wanted to speak—but didn't know where to begin. Finally, he said, "We could start over." I shook my head, eyes turning to the sunlit trees outside the window.

Alma between two worlds

Alma between two worlds

Kaelen had followed every trace, every scent imbued in the pages of the ancient book, determined to find what he was missing. The dark streets stretched out before him, his journey taking him from bookstore to bookstore, questioning salespeople, leafing through dusty tomes. Then finally, his instinct guided him in front of a house. It was here. Without hesitation, he knocked. Silence preceded the opening of the door. And there, before him, Ethan appeared, sleepy, his hair disheveled, looking lost. Kaelen stood frozen for a moment, incomprehension clouding his thoughts. Ethan… here?

My mate chose my sister

My mate chose my sister

Just the practical question of someone standing at the beginning of something new and wanting to know what the first step looked like. Ethan looked at me. His profile in the early light was the same as it had been in every east garden dusk, strong and unhurried and entirely itself. "Nothing," he said. "Tonight you sleep. Tomorrow you are simply here. The rest follows from that." Simply here. I pressed the locket through my coat with my thumb. The worn silver of it. The photograph inside with eyes that were my eyes. Come home in letters worn almost to illegibility. I looked at the estate, at the lights in the lower windows kept on because the pack was coming home.

The Queen is Man

The Queen is Man

"The spice traders from the southern track said Vane’s scouts were turning over the hay-wains three miles down. They’re still looking for the Alchemist's books." "Vane is a dog who doesn't have any teeth left," Ethan growled, his mouth slamming down onto the side of my neck, his teeth catching the skin just above the old collar scar with a heavy, breathless pressure that made my knees go loose under the shift. He didn't use the palace voice now. He used that low, desperate rasp that belonged entirely to the cabin and the dark. "Let them turn the wagons. There is nothing in this valley but two commoners and a pair of brats who smell like a burning forest." "Ethan," I gasped, my hands slipping

THE BODYGUARD’S HIDDEN TRUTH

THE BODYGUARD’S HIDDEN TRUTH

All of it — the shell company, my mother’s late-night discovery, the argument in the garden three days before she died, the posture Frank had described, the name he’d finally given up. Ethan went very still. I watched something close behind his eyes, a door sliding shut the way it always did when the pain became too large to leave visible. “He’s certain,” Ethan said finally. It wasn’t a question. “He said he only saw the man once, from a distance. He wasn’t certain of a face. Only the posture.” “That’s not nothing.” “It’s not everything, either.” I reached for his hand, and he let me take it, though his fingers stayed tense in mine. “Ethan. I need to ask you something, and I need you to actu

and make Ethan disappear so they could take all the wealth for themselves. Ethan stared at the letter in disbelief. His first reaction was that it was ridiculous. Someone had to be trying to drive a wedge between them.

Kissing Ethan

Kissing Ethan

The temperature was dropping down and I was starting to feel cold. "Feeling cold ?" The voice made me look to my side and I saw Ethan sitting beside me on the bench. "Do you always pop out from nowhere ?" I asked. He smiled at my response. "Yes, I pop out when someone needs me to. Here, take it." Need you? Ethan, you are the last person in the world at this moment with whom I wanted to be with you right now. I did not speak anything in response to his previous comment. Ethan slipped in his coat through my arms and then adjusted it. His coat smelled like him, expensive soap, fresh, clean and exotic.

Chasing Bella's shadow

Chasing Bella's shadow

ETHAN'S POV From the murky depths of his addled brain, a gentle voice pulled at his consciousness, urging him to rise and locate the source, but he was tired, so tired and emotionally bruised from all the beatings, and Ethan felt safer locked away in his mind. The voice persisted though, and despite his best efforts Ethan felt himself slowly begin to rise towards it, compelled to discover who was calling to him... "....I've always wanted to help people you know, I have this knack of touching someone, and knowing what they need, take yourself, for instance, I had to wipe the blood off your head so my hands came into contact with your skin, and I knew...beyond the beatings, despite your statio

After reading many many different book on many different platforms, this book is by far the most tantalising, it has totally bewitched me. No book or story have ever got me day dreaming of what happens next whilst I do my daily tasks. There is not enough time in a day to keep constantly reading.

I have loved reading this series the characters all come to life with skilled detailing and the story line is always just right with enough excitement to keep you reading but not too much to be off putting. I'm super happy the new book has been started
