Rejected Luna: He wants me back

Rejected Luna: He wants me back

he says. “Then you must know the reason for my sudden call,” I say politely. The call goes silent for a few seconds. Then his voice comes again. “Yes, I know. It's regarding those glasses. How did you even get them?” he asks, his voice a little tense. My brow furrows. “I got them from the Moonstone Fair. A booth was selling those glasses, and Ezra wanted the star-shaped ones.” I reply. I hear his sigh through the speaker. “It's terrible that he had to end up with that cursed thing,” he says, and my muscles turn tense.

Also, I love the characters in this book! I’m sad that story the main characters is finished but then we get to revisit them in the sequel. It made me laugh and cry but luckily laughed a lot! Even the FL’s wolf is great! I love it when the wolves also communicate to them and have quite the character

I love this book. The author did an amazing job with the MLs redemption arc. I've read waaaaay too many books where the ML was horrendous and only wanted th FL back because of whatever improvements to her life/appearance made her "worthy." This lead is different. He actually improves himself.

Thrown To The Streets By One, Claimed by Another

“The woman in this picture. Do you know who she is?” She tapped her fingers against the table, waiting. Clara stared at the screen, blinking her eyes rapidly. “My eyesight failed sometimes. I might need to fetch my glasses to see her clearly. Give me a minute,” she hurried into her room, coming out with her glasses on her face—a pair of pink glasses with stylish frames. Marina shook her head. That old woman would never admit that she was above all of this.

EYES OPEN

EYES OPEN

The kind that says I see you and I am glad and this is everything and I will not make it weird. When she pulls back her eyes are doing something. "Do not," I say. "I am not doing anything," she says. "Your eyes are doing something," I say. "They are fine," she says, blinking rapidly. "Completely fine. Dust." "Hackney dust." "Notorious for it," she says.

To Be A Duchess

To Be A Duchess

CipherChelleseducing my maid
‘Wait, little piece of glasses? Curious, I walked closer to what looked like little pieces of glass, all in different colours. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that none of them possessed a sharp point, all rounded up as if it were meant to be held, picked up and played with. ‘Clever idea, but what for?’ thinking to myself, I picked one up, all of them are in a odd shape and different colours and it doesn’t make any sense,

 Crashed Into Love.

Crashed Into Love.

’ Taking a deep breath, she started, “Well you see, the thing is… I actually don’t really need a glass…” “Explain it quickly missy, we took you for an eye exam at the beginning of your freshman year and the doctor specifically said you needed corrective lens to help you see properly, both your short and far sightedness have been affected overtime from straining your eyes on the computer screen. So, what in god’s name is going on?” Laura recalled as they waited impatiently for an explanation. “Haha, it’s a funny story actually, someday we’ll all look back at this and laugh….”

The Alpha's Human Twin

The Alpha's Human Twin

She wrinkled her brow, unsure what glass was and how she could see her necklace but couldn't touch it since she was touching something else, like a wall. "What exactly is this? Is there a schism here? Why am I able to see it but not reach for it?" Cora spits and glared at the glass, while Sean grinned and moved over to stand alongside her, one of his fingers gingerly stroking the silver scalpel in his lab coat pocket. "Cora, this is laminated glass. Do not attempt anything amusing; it will not work." He grinned and turned to face her. But she was looking blankly back at him as he wrinkled his brows. That homicidal glare returned.

Wow, this is amazing! I have never read a unique plot like this before. I am intrigued and anticipating what would happen in the next chapter. The blurb caught my attention first and the first chapter is making me want to read everything till the end. Awesome, author.

Death Notice

Death Notice

TSS! In an instant, the eyeball broke, and a large amount of transparent liquid splashed out from the crack, mixed with some bright-red blood vessels. As the camera turned, it could be seen that the huge pressure on the eyeball caused the transparent liquid to splash far away, directly spraying onto the television. The red countdown on the television continued, and time passed quickly. The transparent and viscous liquid slowly flowed down from the television, passing through the television and dripping onto the ground. Bang!

A love for an eye

A love for an eye

I like natural looks because it makes me feel and look refreshed. After all the morning hustle, I quickly rushed downstairs, trying not to be late and not knowing what to do. So what do I do? Like make breakfast or get his stuff ready for work? Or... WAIT!! Hold up. I notice something on the small stylised table beside the sofa. I knelt down and picked it up. It was a ring—a man's ring with a shiny emerald on it. As I observed it further, I realised there was a carving of a dragon inside it.

An Eye for an Eye

An Eye for an Eye

After my eyes were plucked out, I lay on the operating table with two empty sockets on my face, resembling that of a broken doll. Samuel Sterling felt no guilt. He picked up my eyes to examine them and praised them, saying, "Daeleen was right. These really are a beautiful pair of eyes! I promised you, Daeleen. I will make all your wishes come true." As the anesthesia's effect slowly wore off, I could not help but cry out in pain. Samuel finally turned his attention to me as if blaming me for interrupting his memories of Daeleen.
