However, it wasn’t the same as to what I'm seeing now. There was a boy. I can’t recognize his face because of the weird blurry effect of the dream. The only thing I saw clearly were his eyes. His emerald-colored eyes are still engraved in my mind. Even though it’s already been a year since I last dreamt of it, I still can’t forget his eyes. The scenes may be different to what I'm seeing now, but they were both peculiar and still not on earth.

Soon, the whole plate is gone and Jack looks sickly. "Jack, are you alright?" I check. He shakes his head, "No." As soon as that's said, I get an ominous feeling. Jack's eyes roll back into his head. "No!" I scream and scream. "Jack! Can you hear me? Jack!" Tears sprint down my face. They blur my vision and make it hard to breathe. I pull as hard as I can to release myself, it fails.

He loses that animal look to his eyes and stumbles away from Jack, not intervening as I race to him. Jack is lying crumpled on the ground, bleeding, his left eye swollen shut, and gasping for breath. “Oh my god,” I sputter, as I reach his side. My stomach churns in fear, my hands trembling. “I’m okay,” Jack whispers, but I’m not so sure. I hold his hand and fight back tears. Kadeem’s shoulders are slumped as he turns to help Mateo, who struggles to move his swollen knee and grimaces in pain as Kadeem gently lifts him up on his feet.

Sweaty, back breaking drills and sparring sessions were the only noises through town as non-essential shops were shut to allow men to take part in drills and war games in both human and wolf form. Ana didn't even think of going against the order and closed her eyes immediately. Jack put a hand over her eyes and started leading her slowly and carefully. Soon enough, Jack's hand fell off her eyes and he said, "You can open them now". Jack opened her eyes and was mesmerized by the sight in front of her. Folding it and putting it on my lap, I blinked, getting used to the light again. I heard lots of gasps, probably because most people here have never seen my eyes, they must be mesmerized.

He looked at the dust on the floor, then at Jack's glowing purple eyes. Terror is contagious. The thugs behind One-Eyed took a step back. "He... he's a warlock!" one of them shouted. "I am the King," Jack lied. He felt black spots dancing in his vision. He was about to pass out. But he held the stare. "And this is my court. Leave. Before I decide to rust your lungs." One-Eyed scrambled to his feet. He didn't look back. He ran. His gang followed, tripping over themselves to get away from the monster on the pallet.

He whimpered in pain with his eyes closed. Why did he come back to this state? I looked around. Not only my pack members, but the Celestial Dawn pack members were also focusing their attention on me. This is embarrassing! Damn! Is mom deep in choosing a partner for me? "What's wrong with you? Your lip is also torn. Did you fight with someone?"
