SECRETS OF A BILLIONAIRE'S BETRAYAL

SECRETS OF A BILLIONAIRE'S BETRAYAL

The room was filled with shelves, lined with yellowed books, ancient manuscripts, and delicate artifacts, all holding fragments of our shared history. We stepped inside, our footsteps echoing softly on the wooden floor. The room seemed frozen in time, preserving the memories of those who had come before us. Dust particles danced in the sunbeams, adding to the mystique of the space. It was as if we had entered a forgotten realm, where the whispers of the past were waiting to be heard.

Conceived under the moon

Conceived under the moon

The shelves curve gracefully along the inner walls of the chamber, following the natural contours of the wood, each one laden with volumes of ancient lore and mystical knowledge. The books that line the shelves are a treasure trove of wisdom, collected over centuries by the Earth Goddess and Theo as they journeyed through the realms of magic and mystery. Leather-bound tomes and weathered scrolls share space with delicate manuscripts adorned with intricate illustrations, each one a testament to the rich tapestry of knowledge that lies within.

Trapped by the Mafia Boss

Trapped by the Mafia Boss

Isabel pushed it open, and we stepped inside. The air in here was worse. Stagnant. Almost… wet. I didn’t know what I was expecting—chains on the walls? Bloodstains? Some dramatic carving that said HELP ME? Instead, I got books. Books everywhere. Shelves lined the walls, their spines cracked, pages yellowing and curling at the edges. Some of them were covered in mold. Others were stacked on broken benches. In the far corner, piles of old clothes sat crumpled, untouched for years. Jars of paint—long dried up—gathered dust on a shelf.

The Blood Moon Prophecy

The Blood Moon Prophecy

Intrigued by the situation, I start picking up the books near me, heading towards the man I imagine to be the librarian. The library floor is made of dark wood, with wide planks that fit together perfectly, forming a harmonious pattern that seems to whisper ancient stories with each step taken. The corridors are wide, allowing one to walk comfortably among the many bookshelves made of wood, two shades lighter than the floor, filled with books that carry centuries of knowledge, even though many now lie on the floor. The library exudes a sense of order, as if the books have chosen to scatter on the floor deliberately, in a momentary act of rebellion.

and a shelf with a few books on it just above. Okay, books. Maybe there was something there. A Jane Austen novel. Lord of the Rings. A goddamn Spider-Man comic. Some dead giveaway that it was all fake. I needed to get to it. I needed to see what was in those books. I felt like my entire future was hanging on whatever I would find there. My excuse for a bed was on the floor. Seriously, it was basically straw covered by some grimy, stained sheet of rough fabric that made me want to cry even harder.

HIS PAST: HIS BRIDE

HIS PAST: HIS BRIDE

sign. To distract myself, I turn back to the shelves. The smell of old books was like a drug to me now. It is a mix of cedar, dried ink, and a hint of the outdoors that people brought in on their coats. Having the freedom to browse these stacks is a luxury I hadn't enjoyed since I was a child. I reach out, running my fingers over the spine of a contemporary romance by Alyssa Cole. I lingered on the texture of the dust jacket, lost in the cover art and the weight of the story inside.

Come For Me, My Luna {#1 VAMPIRES CUPID SERIES}

Come For Me, My Luna {#1 VAMPIRES CUPID SERIES}

I muttered with a look of awe and admiration. It was like stepping into a fantasy library. The walls were soft-tone red with flecks of black and white. Shelves and shelves of books were neatly arranged in a circular manner. In the center was a little table with an unlit scented candle and two rows of beautiful bookmarks. Three chairs were alongside. There was also a coffee maker in the corner and a soft looking couch.

The Mate Games

The Mate Games

In the far corner is a sink and a crude-looking toilet. Hooks line one of the walls, all empty. The air smells like rust and dust. But then, something catches my eye. A shelf near the back, almost hidden in shadow. Not plastic packages this time. Books. Old ones. Their spines are worn, leather cracked. Some have gold filigree. Others are thick and bound in cloth. I move closer, squinting to read the faded titles. “Lineage of Power.” “The Lost Coronation.” “Treaties of the First Blood.”

Деница Пеловска
I've read all 104 chapters released until now. I have to say that I really liked the book until the last 5 pages. The thoughtful, brave girl we all knew until now is now stupid female that almost became the reason the male character got killed. There is not really any reason that can be an excuse

Alpha, I Won’t Let You Banish Me Again

Alpha, I Won’t Let You Banish Me Again

Please tell Alice that I will be missing the training today because there is something important that I need to attend to. ‘You sure you’re okay?’ She asked again; this time her voice was filled with concern. ‘Yes,’ I replied, and this time she accepted it. I stood from the reclining chair and looked around the shelves. Most of the shelves were filled with different books, mostly fiction, but some rare academic books were no longer in print. I continued to look for the other journals, but couldn’t find any. I was about to give up and try again another day, when I saw a book that seemed misplaced because it was placed upside down, and one of the words on the title was misspelled.

Luna by Contract, Mother in Secret

Luna by Contract, Mother in Secret

With a shared nod, they stepped inside, the air shifting to a musty blend of old parchment and incense. The library was a labyrinth of towering shelves, each laden with dusty tomes and peculiar artifacts—a glass orb swirling with mist, a dagger etched with runes, a chalice that hummed faintly. The only sound was the soft rustle of pages turning somewhere deep within, as if the books themselves were alive. Aria’s grip tightened on Rollan, her heart thudding as they ventured further.
