The Enchanted Realm

The Enchanted Realm

Elysia and her companions listened with reverence, their hearts open to the wisdom that flowed through the very veins of the realm. Guided by the forest's knowledge, the heroes journeyed to an ancient library an archive of the Enchanted Realm's history and destiny. Within its hallowed halls, they discovered scrolls that recounted tales of heroes past, prophecies that spoke of the present, and enigmatic symbols that hinted at the future. Elysia's fingers traced the symbols, her mind alight with possibilities as the threads of fate seemed to weave themselves before her eyes.

Thuldruil’s voice cut through his thoughts and he grinned down at his brother who stood by his horse. “Thuldruil, you have no faith in me. I will be on my utmost best behaviour. When father isn’t watching.” Torin chuckled as he watched his brother rub his temples. “I mean it. We have lost six Fae in the last three months. They were on patrol and then they were gone. We need to know if the wolves are taking them. If they are, we need to find out why. They believe we are going in part because of the boundary dispute, as well as his formal introduction to his Heir. Perhaps you could try to get close to her. See what she knows. Just don’t do anything stupid.” Thuldruil explained under his breath

Merrow said as he leaned back into the soft grass looking up into the clouds, “We are governed by two courts, the Seelie and the Unseelie. Good, bad, the lines blur with the fae. It’s more like day and night.” “I, we don’t know if Erik, who Erik is exactly.” Puca grumbled as he glanced over at Merrow, lifting an eyebrow at him. “Why would it make a difference who he is?” Lola asked, rubbing her hands together, Lu pulled her closer and pressed a kiss to her temple. “How about we get some food in you and we’ll talk more about this when we get home?” Merrow said, sitting up and reaching for the picnic basket. “I don’t think I can eat.” Lola grimaced. She wasn’t hungry, she felt like she had run

"Realms?" "Yes. The realms that my mom used to tell us as stories when we were young. In order to get to that realm, you have to enter the gate which can only be open by a specific fairy. Fairies are mythical creatures but the ones who guard the key are a different kinds of fairies. They possess the power of a witch and the power to cloak. There are other powers but it is still unknown. Fairies are loyal and selfless creatures. That is why they are given the responsibility to guard the keys against those who seek more power." I explained more but Linda seems least convinced. Christina just nodded, trying to process and believing every word I say. “You know that you sound crazy for even consi

He never imagined that Lu Dongbin was trapped there. Suddenly, after a few minutes of silence, Darryl thought of something, ‘Oh yes!’ “Taoism Master, you mentioned earlier that Yuri and Bonnie are fairies? What are fairies?” he asked. Lu Dongbin stroked his beard and said slowly, “A fairy is not human. They are formed from the aura from the sky and earth. The two ladies you saw earlier are the fairies of the Illusion Virtual World. One of kindness, another of evilness. They enter a battle every time they meet. The battle between them is not something we can interfere in.”

A Dragon's Wolf Omega

A Dragon's Wolf Omega

"You know, the word Fae isn't one that really existed as meaning all different species, not until it was coined a term in this modern age, actually by humans, would you believe? It used to be the old french name for fairies, deriving from fata for the 'fates' and was thought to be only women with magic...silly humans. So most of these peoples got lumped with that term anyway in human fairy tales...fairy, dark faery, elves, pixies, sprites, nymphs...to name a few, but here in what we call the Fae Realm for our own convenience, they all live seperately in their own communities and the word Fae is seldom used at all." "I would love to see how they all live." Aria breathed, enthralled by his nar

The Stray Alpha

Gabriel POV Gabriel woke early, sipping on coffee in his kitchen and watching the sun rise over the red rocks in the distance. Where his section on the compound was, he could see nature for miles. He was pondering about the research notes he had taken for Lucy on nymph lore. Supposedly nymphs were fairies in a sense; a nature deity that had different personifications of different habitats. Mermaids could even be associated with nymphs. They were usually beautiful, enticing maidens who could seduce men.

When the Alpha Howls

Like I was shopping for bedtime stories instead of trying to decide whether my life had cracked open into impossibility. “Thank you,” I murmured. The folklore section was tucked into a quiet corner near a window that looked out toward the forest. Of course it did. The books there were a strange little army: weathered hardcovers, thin local history pamphlets, glossy paperbacks with titles involving moons and curses and women who looked poorly dressed for weather. I started with the serious looking ones. Northern Appalachian Folk Beliefs, Predator Myths of the American East, Silver, Salt, and Blood: Ritual Materials in Regional Lore. I pulled them down one by one, making a stack against my che

The Bad Son-in-Law

The Bad Son-in-Law

Dryad / Forest fairy The Dryad is a legendary creature from Greek mythology. According to Greek mythology, the Dryads were creatures, or a kind of fairy, who inhabited plants, taking the form of women. In Greek a similar term, drys, means oak. From this word arises the notion of the Dryads, namely the Nymphs who live in plants. The term is often used to describe Nymphs who live in trees in general. The Dryad character from Greek mythology appears in the fantasy story The Chronicles of Narnia as a female spirit that comes from trees.
