The mermaid dissolved into water and was no longer in sight. Then, shortly after that, a swarm of blue butterflies with glittering wings came forth and circled above her head. She squinted her eyes and noticed that those butterflies were fairies. Her eyes widened in surprise but nothing came out of her mouth. “Welcome to your abode. We have been expecting your arrival,” one of the fairies greeted her warmly. The fairy transformed into a little girl about the age of five years old. Her eyes were light green and her hair was blonde. But, her expression was so serious and unfriendly as there were no smiles on her face.

I was about to enter when the Swan suddenly spoke. "Videris properas, iuvenis?" He said using the word Enchant. [Translation: You seem to be in a hurry, young man?] Fortunately, Nay Aurelia also taught us different languages. "Ego paenitet, ego sum beatus esse extra oppidum." As I promised, it suddenly flew away and turned into a woman wearing a white dress, white skin, and goddess-like beauty. [Translation: I'm sorry because I was just excited to go out of our town.]

"A story? Alright. Daddy will tell you a story. Okay? Now don't sulk, my little prince." Noah giggled and stopped pouting. Then he lay down beside her, chose a bedtime story, and directly read it. His voice was like a cello, deep and sweet. It was clear that he was reading a very childish fairy tale, but it had extraordinary magic power when he read it. “Childish.” She yawned. “What’s so funny about The Ugly Duckling? It can become a white swan, not because it works hard, but because it is a white swan, to begin with. It’s not an inspirational story at all. It just makes people who listen to it more despairing.”
