Kendra opted to walk when she got close to other fairies, she didn’t want anyone seeing her wings, she walked fast as her wings swept the ground behind her, she did not care. One of the downfalls of being a fairy was that when they find their mates everyone could see from their wings, they harden, mature and the original color darken. Everyone could see when the other has found their mate.

“All of you, be quiet!” the murmuring of several fairies stopped at the commanding words of the fairy who was seated higher than all of them. The meeting room was as bright as the place Mane was stuck in, but it was filled with fairies. All the fairies floated above ground and faced twelves ‘thrones’. The thrones were suspended in the air and were occupied by twelve different fairies. Eleven of these thrones were at the same level, with one of the elevated higher than the rest. The fairy that occupied the highest throne was the one who commanded that the others be quiet.

She definitely was not the Fairy God Mother from my childhood movies. But it seemed to fit. Ariel lost her voice when she made a deal with the sea witch, and Cinderella did have a Fairy God Mother. Fairies with large, elegant wings would help her up to fly upto the highest branches and enjoy some of their delicious fairy food. Daryl stopped daydreaming to wonder what food fairies ate. She realized Daffodil wasn’t a good standard since the pink-haired beauty was a Half-Myth and probably didn’t eat what fairies did.
