Fall Into A Good Book Novels & Stories

Jack I yawn as I stretch, picking up my tools and throwing them in my bag. I knew I should have gone to bed at a decent time last night, but that book was getting fucking good and I couldn't put it down. I only have a couple of chapters left to read before book club and I almost don't want to finish them, knowing I'll have to sit and wait to read more.

"You make a good couple." "You barely know him!" "Yes, but he's a good guy I know." Good? What's so good about Eustone? He's nothing but an annoying guy who keeps... trying to earn her trust. "Yes, he's good," she sighed. After work Sasha went on her way to that bench where he would always wait but there was no Eustone waiting for her. It upset her. "I knew it," she mumbled. "Knew what?" She recognize that voice and when she turned she saw Eustone with two cup coffees.

"That is because there is none and there never was. I can't believe you actually believe what I said about this book lying here for a century without being read by a single person. Take a look at the top of the book. What does it says?" "Christmas songs!" "What is the month now?" "October." "It is good that you actually know we are yet to get to December. Now, drop the book where you saw it." "Alright," Goodness obeyed. It is rational to assume that Goodness just made up this dream because it actually doesn't makes sense to me. What is inside the book? Who is the blonde woman? I don't know why I remembered the dream he told me about today but it was better than remembering about Clag's death

I didn't know why but out of all the boys in school, my heart decided to fall for The Decadence of The Fallen's "Ice Prince" and lead vocalist. A nobody falling for the most popular boy in school had to be the greatest cliché of the century. A sort of cosmic joke that the universe decided to play on a mere mortal like me. And everyone in the whole universe seems to be laughing but me...

As I turn to leave I bump into Cole which makes me fall. Isn't it natural for me to ask? After the taxi arrived in front of the bookstore, I entered the store and drowned myself among the shelves filled with books. I bought novels in random genres. Reading novels makes me feel like I am entering another world where I can feel what the main character is going through. It was quite fun; I could forget my troubles for a while. I fell when someone bumped into me. All the books I was holding were scattered on the floor. Come on, doesn't he see that this place is quite wide? Does it make sense to bump into someone in such a large place?

"Good boy" she said and leaned towards him. Her lips touched his lightly. The kiss lasted longer than she expected, she started to feel hot and tingling in her belly and the butterflies were suddenly going wild inside of her stomach. The kiss was soft yet passionate. Her fingers tightened around his hair as his hands went around her waist. Their tongues tangled together in a fiery dance as her knees weakened. She felt her whole body being consumed by this intense sensation, she couldn't get enough of him. She wanted his touch and embrace forever.

Hopefully, I find a clue or two to tell Alpha Luggard about when next he orders me to dream walk and meet him at his pack. I position the ladder to climb and find a book since I don’t find anything interesting yet and I climb up. Soon my eye catches a book because the title sounds absurd a little and I pluck it out of the shelf before coming down the ladder. I turn the book in my hand and my eyes catch the author’s name ‘Sidney Sheldon’. The book title reads ‘The Sky Is Falling’ and I chuckle before I go off to find a place seat and read through it for while before I’ll begin to quietly search while Alpha Hugh is busy with his work and online meetings.

The books on the shelf were neatly arranged but the frayed edges and the little tears on the bottom of most of the books gave out that they’d been read a couple times. Adrian didn't particularly strike me as someone who would love to read but I guess you can't always judge a person by their outward appearance. I traced my fingers along the spines, the titles ranging widely from classic literature, to mindset guides then to business strategy books. One title in particular caught my eye and I pulled it out : Good to Great by Jim Collins. I haven’t had to look at the gun for over a year now, but at times like these, it is needed. I needed to sleep, but I knew that it wouldn’t come that easily. The best thing for me to do was grab a book and read; that always calmed me, and hopefully, it will help me fall asleep without worrying. I chose one of my favourite books, Persuasion by Jane Austin. I have read it a hundred times, but that doesn’t make me love it any less. I pushed all the bad thoughts aside, getting lost in it, and soon I feel myself drifting off, wishing this is nothing but a bad dream.
