I say bitterly, I know for him I was just some other girl he slept with, but I liked to think I was different, he was different this time. That shit was a No from me, but my feelings changed the moment I caught that asshole therapist making a beeline for the back, his hurried like a damn hurricane on a mission. I pushed through the few people still partying, giving nods to a few familiar faces, ignoring the fake-ass smiles and sugar-coated greetings. My eyes zeroed in on Raine, sitting right in the middle of that circle. Tyler grinned like an idiot next to her while Chloe whispered in her ear. My eyes returned to that fucked up therapist, slithering closer to Raine. Hell. No. I walked up just as he was settling in. I didn’t even think before I spoke. Words were already flying out of my mouth before I could stop them.

“Well, it is not as bad as what I have done to you. I am lucky that you are even still talking to me let alone still in love with me after how badly I have hurt you.” “But still, I don’t want any secrets between us.” “Then I should tell you that I tried to have sex with my therapist. He wanted to talk about what I have been through, and I didn’t, so I tried to seduce him into having sex with me. You should have seen him running scared out of the parlor. About ten minutes later we were in bed making love. It took me about a week to find a therapist that was black and willing to have me watch the massage. He was in his 40s and not in great shape but he was male and black. I didn't want to lose the momentum or the fun we were having so I arranged for him to come to our home one evening.

"As long as you get better and move forward, I don't mind if you fall in love with someone else." I mulled over what she said in my mind and I agreed with her. I had nothing to lose if I agreed to see this doctor but I stood gain a lot. A quick glance at her showed me she knew I was thinking about it. I would have laughed at the way she was worrying her lower lip if I didn't have to make such an important decision. Therapy with this person could mean I could get better, which could mean I could finally get into a relationship and then have crazy monkey sex like the ones I've seen on tv. And who knows, maybe my nightmares would finally end.

Summer said. "She actually did" Ava said laughing. "Take your time with this Doctor John guy. Even if you say you are just friends. I know you better than that love. We really need to talk about how we are coping with the stress of work" Summer said. "This is the friend I fell in love with so smart, I don't know who that other girl is" Ava said laughing.

Like we had all the time in the world. We pulled back slightly, foreheads touching. “What does this mean for us?” I asked quietly. “You’re still my massage therapist. I’m still the client who walked in stressed and heartbroken. And now… I’m falling in love with your hands, your voice, the way you make me moan your name.”

I kiss him once more—soft and brief and bittersweet—and then I leave. In my car, I sit in his parking garage and try not to cry. Because here's what I realized in his kitchen: I'm in love with him. She was always so hard working and he vowed within himself to repay her whenever he got the chance That was the only way he could reply her for all the love and devotion she had for him.
