I have seen the worst, but I still couldn't get used to this scene. As they both fell onto the river, the water splashed all around. Jacob was on top of him, biting his neck and shaking his head. Jacob was the son of Hammad, one of the Beta leaders. “Enough, guys—our majesty is here,” Jacob said to his friends, his voice laced with sarcasm. They let go of the student they’d been harassing, who ran off immediately. “What can we do for you, Your Highness?” Jacob smirked. “Will you just leave those humans alone?” Lucas said, gesturing toward where the student had fled. “They’re weak.” “And what if I don’t…?” “Stop being a jerk, Jacob. You’re putting all CANIS at risk. Do you think you can control the chaos once humans find out about our secret?”
