Princess of the Pack, Finding Her Mate

Princess of the Pack, Finding Her Mate

"I've always had these fragmented dreams – images, voices, places I've never been. Could those be memories from my past life?" I reached out, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Maybe they're not just dreams. Maybe they're pieces of a larger puzzle." He sighed, raking his fingers through his hair. "A vast city cloaked in shadows, a crystal-clear lake mirroring the night sky, a melody echoing in the wind... they’ve always felt too real to be just dreams." Elena's eyes lit up with recognition. "I’ve read about such a city in ancient scripts. Legend speaks of a lost city named Lys'tral, hidden from the world, where the veil between realms is at its thinnest."

I am lost in this kind of City

I am lost in this kind of City

As she opened the book, she found herself transported back in time, to an era when Lysandra was young and vibrant, a beacon of hope in a world consumed by darkness. Through the pages of the book, she learned of the city's founding by a group of ancient mystics, who had discovered a way to harness the power of the veil that separated Lysandra from the rest of the world. They had built the city as a sanctuary for those seeking refuge from the chaos outside, a place where magic and mystery thrived. But as Katherine read on, she discovered a darker truth lurking beneath the surface. The veil that protected Lysandra was beginning to unravel, threatening to unleash chaos and destruction upon the c

Their Dark Fantasy

Their Dark Fantasy

It enraged my Lycan the most. I ripped the back open, but nothing living was found inside of it. “What sort of foul magic is this?” I growled. But I had acknowledged one thing, they had come prepared. They had known, capturing her would not be an easy feat. Strigurd growled fiercely, the earth beneath my feet shook. He was not playing hide-and-seek. “I swear I'll burn this whole city to the ground if so much as a hair on her head is touched,” Strigurd growled at the back of my mind.

The Beast King's Bride

The Beast King's Bride

Calli homed in on what seemed like a Lake or Ocean spanning miles and shimmering under the light of the gorgeous stars and moon. "Oh, believe me, this is a tip of the iceberg. This is the Royal Capital but there are eleven other cities and even more towns. We are not as large as Earth Realm but are certainly more advanced in our living. Magic has ousted the need for technology like in your realm. We already went through that phase and didn't find it as useful as magic. Travel is through carriages on modernized roads or Portal Gates depending on your preference and reason for travel. The air is cleaner, fresher and the people are happy. It is simple living but still great in its own right. Yo

CHASING TIDE. (MxM)

CHASING TIDE. (MxM)

He's heard stories but now that he could associate these stories and places with actual treasures, it made it a lot more real, more convincing. "I will show you what my mother showed me the day she passed these treasures down to me." She sat up fully on the bed and picked up the stone, then placed it on the bed. She took both his hands and laid them atop the stone, then smiled and took her hands off. His hands stayed like that for what seemed like forever until the stone began to fade into a transparent glass, like a mirror, he could see his reflection through it, he didn't even get the chance to ogle before images began to display in the mirror, he saw Aquarial for the first time, he saw th

Protected by the Devil

Protected by the Devil

Faye's hair appeared after a few steps, and I was really moved by the despair I felt in her, with the need to eat anything as soon as possible. Vraxlon gestured with his hands, and the gates creaked with the peculiar sound of metal on stone before widening. Faye ran away, caring little about us. Vraxlon turned to me, lightly squeezing our intertwined fingers. "Welcome the city of pleasure, majesty," he greeted, and when the world took shape against the fog, I was in deep shock. The city of pleasure should have received a name that was fairer in its image. And I honestly would have easily called it the city of light, or the fluorescent city, because there were no stars or sunlight in the sky,

I explained. "That's really good. Wait, city? So like on Earth you also have thousands of different cities and towns?" "No. We only have 3 cities on the whole planet. Ewisiza which is like the creative, artistic city, Nire which is like the logical, analytical city and Niltiac is for the council buildings, the high school and university, law courts and the punishment prison." "Where are we now?" "Ewisiza." "Oh, so you like the creative type?"

Rain's Rebellion

Rain's Rebellion

Rain asked, actually stopping to turn and look behind her, not that she could see much staring into the blinding light of Mist’s flashtube. “I guess so. Wait until we get to the border of Michaelanburg and Oklasaw. The remnants of a huge city that was mostly destroyed in the war are still there.” Rain turned back around, not wanting to be blinded anymore. “What city is that?” “It was called Dallas Fort Worth before,” she replied. “Now, it’s called Dafo. But it’s pretty far away. It’ll take us days to get there on foot, especially if we’re having to dodge Mothers the entire time.”

Onerea: The City of Dreams

His reasoning still was that, if he was dead too, he shouldn't be afraid of other dead people, right? "Oh, I don't think you died. See, if you were dead, this would be the last place you'd come to. This is a dream place. The City is actually called The City of Dreams because of that... and well, some other reasons. But for now, that's the one we care about, right? The kid was puzzled. How in the world would he end up there? Was he sleeping? was he dead, and the guy in front of him was lying to him?

Everything is so vivid and real. The story progression is very smooth and easy. I feel this is probably one of the most relaxing but interesting reads I have had so far on Good Novels! Great job author! :)

I like how the descriptions really make you see the characters, where they are, and what they're going through. And the pacing is just great. Now I'm curious as to what lies beyond the mirror for Belle... :3
