"Satisfied with what they wrought, the other Gods went off to other creations. Yet, one god was still fascinated with the earth and remained behind to create something new and special of his own. The Hebrews called him Yahweh. The faerie knows him as the Guardian, the god who remained behind to take care of them.

I feel like I’ve only been here for, at most, an hour. “So, I know this is a really random question, but could you explain where I got the dress?” He chuckles a little, not in a bad way, more that he wasn’t expecting me to ask. “When you become a god, the clothing you first appear in, is how you will be depicted by mortals. There’s a magic to it that I can’t explain. It creates its from Fate.” “You mean fate like it’s meant to be?” “Yes and no. Fate is a god. He’s more like the creator. Fate made the higher deity gods-the gods of fate, like the moon goddess that wolves believe in. And he made the rest of us-the patron gods, as well as all of humanity.”

Some of the old Gods had different forms but it was always easy to tell them apart from mortals. He recalled reading about a God that looked like a huge tree with a human-like face. However, those Gods often created beings known as demi-Gods. These immortals could look as normal as any living creature, but there were some who did not.
