Married To My Arrogant Billionaire Enemy

Married To My Arrogant Billionaire Enemy

“Barely.” “You don’t have to be strong tonight,” he said. “Just present.” The words hit deeper than I expected. “I keep thinking about Adrian,” I confessed. “About what he said. About what he might do next.” “I know.” “And about… after,” I added, my voice quieter now. “When this is over.” His breathing shifted on the other end of the line. “After,” he repeated. “The contract,” I said. There. I’d said it. “It’s ending soon. And I don’t know what happens then.”

Goodbye, Saintess.

Goodbye, Saintess.

I shook my head and looked at her with pity. "God, I sound like a broken record. How many times do I have to tell you I don't need other women to want you out of my life? I don't love you anymore, and I'm seriously done with you. Do you speak human?" I replied. "What?!" Her calm mask cracked instantly. I sighed, casting her a disappointed side-eye. "You know what? Whatever. I'm done wasting energy on the world's most pointless battle. Drag it out if you want. I just need two years to be free of this Faustian contract."

This is Farewell

This is Farewell

The two of them used to go through the pages, saying that someday, when they were older, they'd show their grandkids the album and tell them about their love story. Nobody knew exactly when, but it had been long since the album got any new photos. Kayla watched everything turn to ash and smoke, feeling the part of her heart that held everything related to Winston fade, leaving nothing but an empty void. But it barely mattered since she didn't need it anymore. Kayla went to the hospital on the last day. She finished all the medication the doctor gave her and was too weak to stand on her own. As soon as she entered the ward, her body gave out, and she passed out. She stirred awake at some poin

The Kane Contract: Vows of Venom

The Kane Contract: Vows of Venom

Just looks at me, then at the room, then back at me. “Can’t sleep?” he asks, voice rough from sleep. I shake my head. “Too much in my head.” He walks in, lowers himself to the floor beside me. Slow, careful. His knee touches mine. We sit in silence for a bit, surrounded by tiny onesies stacked on the changing table, little socks folded in pairs, a stack of diapers still in the packaging. Finally, I speak. “Tomorrow the contract is over.” “I know.” “The money hits. I could pack a bag. Take Sandra. Go anywhere.”

BEYOND THE CONTRACT

BEYOND THE CONTRACT

Julian looked at her and gave a small nod. “Thank you,” he said, but there was something off about his tone. Even though this was everything he had worked for, everything he had wanted, he didn’t feel as satisfied as he expected. A strange feeling settled in his chest, something he couldn’t quite understand. Sophia noticed the change in his expression. He looked deep in thought, almost distant. She hesitated for a moment before speaking, choosing her words carefully. “Our contract will soon end,” she said softly, her voice steady, but there was something else in it—something almost uncertain. “Just two months left.”

Let me go, Mr Billionaire

Let me go, Mr Billionaire

17 I had just turned in my resignation letter. And with the Knowledge that getting out of this was difficult, I was still willing to try. Slowly, my eyes gazed at the contract I had signed which sealed my fate to C& D's empire. With each glance, it only seemed to prove that I was in to deep to leave. The consequences for breaching the contract was severe and dire which made me regret why I hadn't taken a proper look at it in the first place.

My Contracted Wife Don't Run Away

My Contracted Wife Don't Run Away

This was all my fault but I knew that letting go of our contract marriage was the right thing to do, even if it was difficult. And as I walked out of the lawyer's office, I vowed to move on and find a new path forward, even as I said goodbye to the life I once knew with Laura. * * * * The sun was setting on the grand estate on Sun island as the sound of clinking chess pieces filled the balcony of grandmother's studies. I sat at the table, staring blankly at the chessboard in front of me. Grandmother sat across from me, her eyes filled with concern and love.

Beyond The Contract

Beyond The Contract

Finally losing all sense of humor, Ryke said, "Three days, that's all I'm giving you before I start tearing down Steele Co-operations" Logan threw the contract at him as he walked out angrily. "Three days Logan". *************** Crystal scattered the last pieces of the bread crumbs. The birds all gathered round to peck at them. She watched and wondered what it would feel like to be like them. She would be able to spread her wings, soaring in the sky without a single care in the world. She would be free. "Mum used to stare at the sky too with that same wishful look. The birds don't have it as easy as you think".

The Contract

The Contract

he whispers in my ear, sending shivers up my spine. I can't help but slump my shoulders as I feel his breath on my neck. "You made your bed, sweetheart. Now lay in it. Or more like... We'll lay on it." he says, gripping my waist and pulling me flush against him, planting a kiss on my lips. "No. No deal, Daniel. A contract? Really? I am not an investment. This marriage is over, Daniel." A loud knock is heard on our door, and Nico quickly opens the door, frantically coming in. "Guys, you gotta see this, quick!" he says, leaving the room, leaving us dumbfounded.

Miley
This book was funny as well as an emotional Rollercoaster. It needs some proofreading and consistency in Jane's eye color throughout the book. Are her eyes ocean blue, hazel, or brown? It was a good one day read but could be so much better with some grammar, spelling, and proofreading.

I absolutely loved this book so much that I was an emotional wreck. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't think properly because of anxiety, anger, sadness, happiness and a huge dislike for Daniel's on and off personality as well as a bit more dislike for Wayne. I wish it was longer
