Without thinking twice, I followed Ethan into the elevator. In movies, elevators have earned a reputation for being a center for a good horror scene. Which is why when the doors shut and Ethan pressed the ground floor button, I froze and started panicking internally. What if this turned into some sick nightmares where Ethan turned to something without a name and killed me? I should've thought about that before hopping into the elevator. However, it was my dream, so I could do whatever I wanted. I took a deep breath and decided to play cool.

Mia "I’ve been trying to figure that out for a long time.” He massaged bubbles into her scalp. “You can’t think of anything?” “God, this feels so good.” Succulent shivers ran down her body. “Focus, my love." “He doesn’t like taking elevators, but he will if it but he will if it doesn’t go higher than the third floor. My apartment isn’t up too many floors, so I take the stairs. I’m guessing there would be too many stairs to reach your place.” I explained. “Fifteen flights would be a good workout, but I don’t recommend doing it often.” He agreed. “Don’t worry, Tinkerbell. This elevator is pretty fast.” Clay assured my dog stretching her head.

Then laughed loudly, "that was a joke, Anna. Did you really fall for it? That's such a random conclusion!" She laughed even more. I frowned. Did I actually take her seriously? "I thought you were serious. I felt so scared," I muttered, not finding it funny. Her laughter receded, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up that sour topic." "It's okay, mum but… but mum, I don’t want to get married yet, especially to someone that I met in an elevator. I do not know anything about him in fact, I can’t accept it” I said panicking.

Relief warred with a new wave of fear, a monstrous tide threatening to capsize her already unsteady emotions. Nora mumbled a breathless thank you, her legs already propelling her towards the elevators. Each second stretched into an eternity, the sterile lights blurring as her anxiety painted streaks of paranoia across her vision. The elevator arrived with a sigh, its doors parting like the jaws of a predator. Nora mouthed a 'thank you' to her as she hurried towards the elevator.

The staircase to the top floor would consume all my energy so I didn't have a choice. As I stepped my foot inside the open elevator, my heart began to thump fast because of the nervousness I felt. If someone entered this elevator on the other floors, I would be doomed for eternity. I would be having more stains of blood all over me. As minutes passed by and the elevator was quickly moving to the fourteenth floor, the tinging sound of it immediately sent chill down my spine. A person would enter. What am I supposed to do now? With my eagerness to escape another trouble, I gripped the pistols tight and braced myself to shoot.

I stayed rooted on my spot. With quivering legs, I reach the tightly shut elevator. The palm of my hands are wet from cold sweat. My eyes frantically search for the floor they are going. Lucy POV Lunch was terrific, but it was bizarre how Killian just sent us away. I was feeling pretty tired anyway, so laying down and maybe watching a movie with girls would be nice.
