I beseeched in tears. "I'll destroy you the same way I killed your father, the king." His grip on my neck became tighter, his eyes glowed red as I began to cough out black blood. I was suffocating, my vision became blur, all I could see is darkness taking over me. "Your powers are weak just like your father...." He whispers.

Umbra couldn't help but marvel at Gideon's remarkable fortune. The four apex overbeasts—Tonitrui Eagle, Flamenie Bird, Titan Ape, and Phantom Cat—had virtually no vulnerabilities. In direct confrontations with external foes, the Titan Ape could lead the charge, while the Flamenie Bird and Tonitrui Eagle could leverage their speed to flank and support. With its stealthy movement techniques, the Phantom Cat could conceal itself and wait for the perfect moment to deliver a lethal strike. It was an impeccable strategy! Nevertheless, Umbra, Winter, and the others were worried. If the four apex overbeasts decided to rebel, could Sylvester and the other three Supremes hold their ground?

Nemiah cried harder. Vivar began to have an odd feeling like they were being watched. He stood and unsheathed his sword as he looked around. Nemiah heard the whistle of the blade so she raised her head. “W-What’s wrong?” She sniffed. Vivar just signaled her to stay silent. She wiped her tears and stood behind him. She started to feel like someone was really watching them. They were startled when a huge crow flew out of the cave. It has been watching them a while ago, going unnoticed.

In doing so she got to her feet on the ground only for something invisible to grasp her feet and the next thing a portal opened behind her and someone stepped out of it. Her heart lurched to her mouth and she stiffened, inhaling that familiar scent of repugnance. She forced her body to move but before she could get away Armando wrapped his fingers around her throat pulling her back in front of him. "My, my. I missed you," He beamed joyously. Silvia tried not to tremble in fear. "My sweet little pigeon. I'm gonna kill your mate and after that, if I find out he touched you. I'll kill you with my own hands," Armando gritted in her ears as fear gripped her soul.
