Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

The world felt small and tight inside the dusty granary. The air smelled of old grain and sadness. Outside, the only sound was the steady push of bodies against the heavy oak door. Thud. Thud. Thud. It wasn’t frantic, it wasn’t violent, it was worse: slow, patient, unstoppable. It was like the sound of home itself trying to break in, to swallow them whole in a fake hug that would trap them forever. Eli’s small, pale hand was still reaching out to his sister, Liora, his fingers limp and cold. The words he had spoken, the words it had made him say, “Come Home “ hung frozen in the quiet air.

Unexpectedly Married to a Billionaire

Unexpectedly Married to a Billionaire

A quiet picture that, without me wanting it, made me start to believe if only just a little. I ran my fingers over the cover of the book in my lap, the embossed letters faded from age. My chest rose and fell slowly as I stared at it, but in truth, I wasn’t seeing the words. I was replaying the day each hallway, each room, each fleeting smile from Xavier. It was strange. Yesterday, this house had felt like a cage, the walls too tall, the doors too heavy. But today, after walking with him, it felt a little less like a prison. Still intimidating, yes, but not suffocating.

In the Arms of the Enemy’s Brother

But eventually, the tension made it impossible to relax. With a small sigh, I closed my book, maybe it was just my imagination. Still, the feeling was strong enough to make me want to go home. I packed my things, paid for my drinks, and stepped outside. The street looked normal, people walking, cars passing, nothing unusual. Even so, I didn’t feel fully comfortable until I was back inside the car. The drive home felt longer than usual. By the time I reached the house, the sun had already started to lower in the sky.

Finding Home: A Twin Shifter Romance

Finding Home: A Twin Shifter Romance

’ She flipped through the pages and thought it would be awesome if the information was in alphabetical order. The book was ancient, copied down for many generations, and there was no rhyme or reason to its order. It was as if the information was written at the time of discovery. ‘It’s a book, just find it.’ Bree scoffed, thinking he should be with her looking for the cure if he really wanted it that badly. The book glowed slightly as Bree felt warmth through her fingers. ‘No shit.’ ‘What? Did you find it?’ ‘No, not yet. The book just alphabetized itself.’ Bree looked at her fingers. ‘Wow, I have magic in me.’

I loved this story!!! I loved seeing Pippa and Adrian grow as characters—they have a love that is so passionate and real. The plot is amazing, and the whole story grows so much larger than the opening pages. I’ve also never seen a soul so dark as Caspian’s. Amazing read!

Amazing read so far! Great characters & story! Frequent updates, altho I’m dreading catching up! ...... Writer is amazing - super shitty that other reviewers have given this 1 star because a different great book from the author was removed by the app - Shame on them! This is definitely worth the read!

Forceful Marriage: Young Master's Mute Wife

Forceful Marriage: Young Master's Mute Wife

The little girl thought for a moment, opened the bag behind her, took out a book, and handed it to him, saying, "Take a look at this. There are many answers in it." Joe took it and the little girl waved at him. "Big Brother, I'm going home. You should go home too." She ran toward her mother. Joe looked down at the cover of the book: "A hundred thousand reasons." All of a sudden, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry, and at the same time, he felt much more comfortable. He seemed to have figured it out, and his heart was no longer so heavy. When he got home, Jane came out of the car and saw Joe walking back. She asked in surprise, "Where's your car?"

This is an awesome novel! I recommended it to 3 friends who are now reading it. I’m also reading it for a 2nd time (1 yr later) with them for discussion purposes, so if you see new comments from me that’s why lol. Anyway, this is 1 of the best novels I’ve read on this App. Kudos to the author!...
Lair El Greco
The story has depth. It's a story about second chances and overcoming the odds. It may be a bit slow paced but its very entertaining that you'll consider murdering some characters. Hahahah! Kudos to the author!

Silver Sion

Silver Sion

His brows knitted together for a moment. “Luc, is this our home now?” His shoulders fell slightly. Some of the confidence leaving his small frame. I scanned the property and from here I could see most of it. I could see the newly tilled land, the chicken coup, the small house, and the small shack that had the running water. The feelings slammed into my heart. This was starting to be home. Which was so scary. “A home isn’t a place. It’s a feeling. Being with the people you love the most.” I got down to his level. “My home is wherever you are.” He smiled. I wrapped my arms around him. Bringing him into a huge hug.

Scoundrel With A Noble Heart

Scoundrel With A Noble Heart

But having grown up with the constant upheaval of a nomadic childhood, the permanence of her house, the constant walls, was a blessing she couldn't take for granted. "You know, there's a saying, you can wander the world, but there's no place quite like home." A faint smile tugged at his lips. "Home isn't a place, it's the feeling of belonging, the people who make you feel safe and understood. Where you feel loved and accepted, where you never feel alone. That's what makes a home, I guess." The weight of Jacob's words settled on her like a heavy cloak. A truth she'd desperately tried to ignore echoed in the quiet space between them.

NIGHTSHIFT

NIGHTSHIFT

But she was in the house just mumbling. Just your kind of fun. No time does not pass that you are not happy. You feel that you are free. Everything you can do. But once I thought why am I just like this, you homeless... you feel that you are alone. There is no freedom. It's good that the birds are free to fly anywhere they want. But for me? Here's to stock at home. Doing nothing reading a book.. watching TV, lying down, using your cellphone.. you don't realize you're getting old when you're at home.. all day.
