The opening statements took an hour. Straightening, she adjusted her flame-red gauntlets, her fiery eyes flicking between Maria and Nina. “Well, well,” the woman said with a grin, her voice carrying a playful lilt. “Looks like someone’s finally giving you a rough time, Maria. I’ve been waiting for this moment to show off my skills.” Maria smirked faintly. “I guess everyone has their time.” The woman grinned wider, pounding a fist against her armored chest. “Don’t worry. Whoever’s trailing you won’t live long enough to regret it.” This was Lysandra Blaze, the Fire Seraph, known for her fiery temperament and unmatched combat prowess. Her presence alone was enough to inspire both confidence and dread.
