Aria. The new thing that crawled out of the crack was not like the beast before. This one walked slow. Its skin shimmered like smoke and metal, stretched too tight over its frame. Its eyes were pure silver, sharp and endless. When it smiled, I saw teeth that did not belong to anything from this world. The air went colder the closer it came. My breath turned heavy, like frost. Jace was the first to move. His body was still broken and bleeding, but he roared like the wolf inside him had nothing left to lose. He threw himself forward, claws out, his body crashing into the thing before it could reach me.

Cassian explained, "Dr. Frost has moved to Rivershire for work purposes, so she doesn't have any friends here." Jasmine asked, "So, Dr. Frost isn't a Rivershire local?" "She's from Jasperion," Cassian replied. "Jasperion, huh?" Jasmine had a dazed look on her face. She seemed to have recalled something, for she didn't speak at all after that. She just went into a trance of her own. "What's wrong, Mom?" Cassian asked in confusion. "Nothing!" Jasmine quickly snapped out of her trance. "Cass, here's the thing—men should be more assertive."

With a single word, these three men could send the entire city into a panic, yet in her presence, all their fierceness softened, as if they had melted completely. My soul slipped once more behind the frostbitten steel door. My body remained curled in the corner, twisted into a shape no living person should ever have to endure. My skin had taken on a ghastly blue-purple hue, while frost clung to my lashes and tangled through my hair. Still, it was my fingers that suffered most. I had clawed at the door until every nail bent or snapped, blood freezing into shards of dark red ice around my fingertips. What a wretched sight I had become.

Jackie looked around and saw that she was at a wedding. At a wedding of the person she despised the most with the person she likes. "No... no... Jaedan is mine. He's mine! Dakota, bitch!" She stood up and was about to attack Dakota, however, she just passed through her body. "What...?" Jackie slowly realized that everything was an illusion. "This is all fake.." She was about to laugh when she saw Dakota and Jaedan kissing each other again. Her mind went blank as she screamed and screamed that Jaedan was hers.

The blizzard was the perfect counter against the flying beasts, but he had to hold it as long as he could. Arth folded his wings as the strong wind almost pulled him towards the tornado. The magic circle he had stood in grew colder and colder until frost expanded all over the ground. It ran and spread like a water flow, covering the soil, dust, and rocks with white frost. It caught Arth’s feet also, the frost climbing to his legs. But he felt no pain at all, only numbness ... and comfort from the cold that embraced him. Arth found his hands and arms becoming pale, his vision slowly weaving. It told him he had reached his limits.

Frost and the other guys were snickering the whole time I was limping through changing. “Looks like Summers strikes again. Maybe start wearing a cup.” Frost taunted, ruffling my hair. “Fuck you, Frost.” I swatted his hand away. “Nah, you’re not my type.” Frost laughed. Despite his joking, I can tell something is off. I won’t dare say I know any of the Frosts well enough to tell you which one I’m dealing with most days.

Emiko walked past us in her human sized black widow form and seperated the two, before shifting back. "What the hell are you two arguing about now?" She snapped. "Do you want me to end your lives early and give Frost a new mate?" That shut them up and they shook their heads at her. "They are arguing over who gets to hangout with me today, Mama." Frost told her, with a smile. Hearing her call him Mama was still going to take some time getting used to, but it was nice to know he wasn't cursed anymore. That he had someone who loved him very much, three people who loved him very much.

How much love in a heart of a woman insistent to call herself Frost does she need to have TO forgive her betrayer, her villain wrapped in hospital clothes? “Kaleb is doing good, he’s crawlin' and walkin' in the walkin' ring, drivin' me nuts. It shouldn’t be many days longer until he’s walkin' on his own. We better get you up and walking mama bear, 'cause this Aunts ass ain’t doing that shit for much longer.” Frost keeps talking, telling Sienna about Kaleb, the other guys, and tons of random shit. And I stand here, my heart burning in the center, split in two that my legs feel stiff, my body at a standstill, frozen in this moment.
