Some were old while others looked rather new. Toward the end of the shelf, her eyes caught a small, thin book almost hidden behind the rows of thicker textbooks. It was shoved deep into the shelf like they never wanted the book to be seen by anyone. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly. Something about the way the book was pushed back felt odd to her. She reached for the book that had a deep wine-red cover. The title was written in silver letters. “Her Erotic Fantasy” Clarissa blinked in surprise,she hadn’t expected that. Her lips parted slightly. She looked around the library to see if anyone was watching.

It has never been my goal to impress my sister with anything I do. I scroll through the books in the library until I come to my favourite section, Mystery. I always love the thrill that comes with not knowing what's going to happen next. You can make it more interesting for yourself if you start to wonder what is happening and what will happen. I take a few glances through the books on the shelves and take a book that looks the most interesting out of all the books I saw. 'In the Woods' by Tana French.
