Hope nodded, taking a deep breath before leaving with Florence who promised to have her back soon. The school was boring anyway. Even now, I was currently staring at one of those books, an ancient werewolf romance novel, while she was reading a much hotter and more recent one; Inferno, Yeah it went along with the title and all. According to her, she wanted to spice things up with Charles and didn't mind recreating some of the scenes from the book, the girl was such a dirty-minded one, and she didn't mind sharing all those gruesome details with me.

Chapter One - Sylvie Slam! The door to the café bursts open. The cold winter breeze whips through the small shop, rustling the loose strands of my ebony hair. Momentarily distracted, I barely notice the hard wall of a body until it is too late. Crash! The sound of several ceramic mugs shattering against the unforgiving concrete floor jolts me back into awareness. As if making a huge mess wasn't bad enough, the sound echoed throughout the room and now several, if not all, eyes in the café have been drawn to me. He didn't have to read the fancily scrawled heading to recognize what the chapter was about. Oh. That was why she suddenly stopped reading to him.
