Eldorado's Unwanted Bride

Eldorado's Unwanted Bride

and took a long pause, “don’t say something you don’t mean.” “Right,” I crossed my arms, “we shouldn’t hate animals,” and moved ahead creating distance between us. His head dropped dead hiding away his grin that should be embarrassment, but he’s too insensitive to feel those emotions. “Your jokes must be fun in your head, I wonder where the humor goes when they leave your mouth.” He leaned on my door. “You are on the door already, how about I kick you and throw your useless body out?” I gritted my teeth in frustration evidently.

Aurora's Secrets

Aurora's Secrets

It finally dawned on her, No way! "You're a boxer?" She gawked at him, surprise flooding her system. He lifted a shoulder, "What did you think I do for a living? Fuck rich princess and steal from their homes." She glared at him and he bursted into laughter. He was terrible at making jokes and his humor was even much worse. He took her to the side of the stage, where a mini bar was set up. It was fairly empty, only two people hung around the counter, beer bottles in hand. Ryan walked closer, slamming his fist on the counter,

Night Of His Obsession

Night Of His Obsession

At one point, Vince attempted a particularly cheesy joke that made me groan and laugh so hard that I nearly snorted water through my nose. "Okay, okay, maybe that one was a bit too much," Vince admitted, chuckling along with us. Friah wiped tears of laughter from her eyes. "You need to work on your joke-telling skills, Vince." He mock-glared at her. "Hey, I thought it was pretty good! You just have no taste in humor." We laughed, the sound echoing through the restaurant as we continued to enjoy our meal and each other's company long into the night. As we finished our meal, Vince leaned back in his chair with a satisfied sigh. "That hit the spot," he said, patting his stomach. "I don't think

I Want A Divorce, Mr Lyon!

I Want A Divorce, Mr Lyon!

“Oh, Trisha just told the funniest joke.” Fiona raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. “A joke? From Trisha? This I’ve gotta hear.” “Oh, don’t worry, you’ll get it,” Trisha said, still grinning. “Alright, here goes. Why don’t skeletons fight each other?” Fiona blinked, trying to think. “I dunno. Why?” “Because they don’t have the guts!” Trisha finished with a flourish, proud of herself. Kathryn cracked up again, and Fiona couldn’t help but join in, shaking her head. “Alright, alright, that’s bad, but it’s funny. You should be a stand-up comedian, Trisha.”

CLOWNY MISFORTUNES

CLOWNY MISFORTUNES

And so, on and on ,like the osscilation of a pendulum, the disheartening piece of my bio churned while the sands of time dripped slowly and slowly as it watched my narration irks the soul of the spectators. That I thought, but it appeared to be nothing but a blunt lie. It was a revolving piece of gags and laughs. A piece of funny cake, a chunk of interesting cheese, a loaf of an adventurous bread and a real ginger to the spirits of the audience. They applauded.

Ryoshi
This is an interesting book with intriguing characters and premise. The author does well to draw the audience in and make them part of the story. The narrator feels very genuine, and I began to feel for him. Very well done.
Nightingale ✍️
Mhenn this story is Lit?. It keeps the reader drawn to the main character. At the first chapter I was already glued to how chuka's mistakes caused misfortunes to others. This is definitely a story y'all should read.

STEEL'S CURVY SIN & SECRETS

STEEL'S CURVY SIN & SECRETS

“I’d laugh in your face and then tell the doc you brought it on yourself. You think I’m gonna risk my reputation so you can play kamikaze in bed? Forget it.” That earned me a real laugh, short and sharp. I grinned, pointing at him. “See? Humor works. You should thank me. I’m basically saving your sanity.” “You’re insufferable,” he muttered, but the corner of his mouth twitched again. “Yeah, but I’m entertaining. And in three months, when you’re finally cleared, you’re gonna look back at this and—” “If you laugh, I’ll hit you.” I held up my hands. “Okay, okay. Not laugh. Maybe… cry tears of joy. Better?”

THE THING INSIDE YOUR HEAD (#TIME GODS SERIES)

“Yeah, like your old buddy, Jocelyn, who's true love is nextdoor and, as a matter of fact, goes for dates every single day in her dream world, a.k.a hashtag fiction!” Still crying, Amanda was like, “Ah-ha-ha-ha!” to “Mu-ha-ha-hah!” then, “Gosh, that is so funny. . . I mean, sorry I'm laughing!” “I'm really happy I have a psycho for a bestie,” said Joce, rolling her eyes which only seemed to have fuelled the former's laughter. “Get a grip, girl! I'm starving, by the way, mind a meal?” “Bills on you, then!”

DESPERATE LOVE

DESPERATE LOVE

Calvin chuckled. “Revenge for my back, dude. Yesterday, even this morning I woke up like a hundred year old geezer who couldn't move his back at all. You shot me too hard with that toy bullet. Damn you!" Richmond cursed no less harshly. But they both then burst out laughing at each other to laugh at each other's ridiculous stupidity. That's how cruel their friendship was. Their sense of humor is clearly very different from the sense of humor of most men in general. “Hazel screamed hysterically yesterday. And I told her I shot you with a dope gun."

Ex-fiance's regret

Ex-fiance's regret

he sounded so level headed, so calm and collected- it turned me on for some reason. I thought I’d be offended. But all I could do was laugh, this drink is working. He looked at me with amusement, he probably thinks I’m crazy. “Well I guess we’re both fools for falling in love. Cheers to that” with that, I down the remainder of my drink. He chuckles, damn he sounds so good. “You’re funny, but I’d like to believe it’s only because your drunk right now” I gasped “I’m very offended! I’m the funniest woman you’d ever meet. My sense of humor is unmatched, sober or drunk; but recently, I just laugh at myself. It’s pitiful, almost comical you know?”

A Friend's Joke Reveals Hubby's Secret Life

A Friend's Joke Reveals Hubby's Secret Life

Bradley Fry, my CEO husband, loves bringing his friends home for meals the most. He claims that this makes them feel like an actual family. As they drink in the feast I've whipped up for everyone, one of Bradley's friends comments smilingly, "I knew that you were a virtuous one, Emily! Now this is how the legitimate wife should act!" My expression doesn't falter as I ask in a half-joking manner, "Oh? Does Bradley have a spoiled and pampered mistress by his side, then?" His friends are stunned by my question. A trace of panic crosses their eyes simultaneously. But Bradley just wraps an arm around my shoulders with a smile. "Don't listen to their nonsense, Emily. Who else is worthy as my
