Lullaby (Fable Saga Book 2)

Lullaby (Fable Saga Book 2)

“Sweeping his hands through his ravishing locks of shining golden blonde hair, his spellbinding sapphire sky blue eyes filled with lust and hot passion dripping with sweet desire as he bent down towards Lyall. Lyall licked his lips hungrily. As their lips meet…” “Ahem,” Kitty says. “Hate to interrupt… whatever this is. The groceries are out on the porch. You know the drill. You boys can take it from here.” “Your timing is atrocious as always,” Alastaire says, slipping his phone into his pocket. “First you steal my Cupcake away for a whole day, then you barge in on story hour just as it’s getting really good.” “I didn’t know you read Fable fan fiction,” I blurt out, hoping he’s never read any

Though I have to admit that you are indeed very smart and outspoken for your age. " Um.. so which story do you want to hear? " " I heard my sister Jemmy talking about a book titled, The Foreigner Princess. Can you summarize the story to me? " " Sure. But first, let me tuck you in. " " Okay. " She nodded. Then Emmy proceeded with tucking her in after which she began her story. " The Foreigner Princess: One day, A rich and handsome king From a kingdom was strolling around an orphanage in a small town. " she began.

Shadows of Solitude

Shadows of Solitude

Shelves sagged with forgotten stories and whispered secrets. A small bell tinkled as I entered, and an elderly man looked up from behind the counter. “Looking for anything special?” he asked with a gentle smile. “Something to help me find myself,” I joked, but there was truth beneath the words. He nodded knowingly. “Sometimes, the right story finds us when we need it most.” I browsed through the shelves, fingers trailing over worn spines until a slim volume caught my eye — *The Folklore of Lost Hearts*. I pulled it down and flipped through the pages filled with tales of love, loss, and the strange magic that binds us all.

Cycle of Cliches

Cycle of Cliches

We never got to see how they lived happily though, but the smile in the last scene after which the The End, flew or swivelled or zoomed in, made it obvious. Nisim did tell me later that The Thief was a short story and short stories ended that way! It was five pages long, much longer than the stories in the book Deuta had gifted me on my eleventh Birthday – Aesop’s Fables – the stories in this book were never more than two pages. And always with a moral at the end. The Thief didn’t have a moral – that was the best part though – I never liked memorizing morals. But the thing was, my brother was calling the longest story I had read till then, a short story! By then, though, I had some idea of a

Her Carnal Desires

Her Carnal Desires

Most of the pages in the front were smudged too terribly to read anything but once it became legible, I started to shake with happiness. It was a story book! Eagerly I began reading the first story that wasn't destroyed. MY mouth dropped open in wonder at this finding. It was a shadow elf storybook, and a very old one. Page after page I flipped through the words absorbing every word that I could. The stories were full of ghastly creatures similar to the ghoulcat and the heroes of ancient Gwathendor who fought them. And their lady loves that they saved along the way. Soon enough I was hunched over the bed with the little book in my lap and my head in the clouds.

then looked up at him, and he immediately knew what she wanted. Oh shit "I don't tell stories, Jane." Maybe histories—he rolled his eyes—but stories—too dainty. "Everyone has a story dummy," she rolled her eyes, shifted close to him, then pointed at a shelf where her story books were lined up, "if you don't have any, you can choose one there." He withheld his groan and stood up, moving to the shelf where he took one, reading the title, "The Wonderland Flair." He wrinkled his nose, looking at Jane, "You read this?"

Reading again. I've missed these stories. BOOK 1 *A crazy Don obsesses over a beautiful mistake, and his brother is the cleanup man. BOOK 2 *An heir is on a mission and stumbles upon some treasure that changes his life. It was worth the read a year ago and now today. ...️

Loved both of these books. Love the idea of having the spin offs. Hopefully that will come to light. Other than some grammar errors the storyline kept me glued to it. My heart is sad that it’s over, but I loved every bit of it.

"Will you read me a story?" She nods, forcing a smile. "If you want. Which story would you like?" "Don't know. Your favourite." "Alright." She opens the book. It is tattered and worn, the binding ready to fail. Some pages from the back are missing and all are yellowed, crisping at the edges. The cover, battered and scraped as it is, is bright, in brilliant jewelled colours; an image of a prince in fine silks and a beautiful girl, riding a flying carpet over a magical city.

he wiggled his brows at me and snorted and I shook my head. "Is it about your author friend?" I asked and he nods. "Yes! There's something intriguing about her story" he said and I raised a brow at him. "Don't tell me you're brooding over a fictional story that someone wrote" I chuckled. "It's not a fictional book. It's non-fiction and the story is quite touching". "Since when did you become a softy over books being read?" I asked still amused. "Is not really the matter of being a softy dumbass. I just find the story similar to what happened to you".
