"I went to your funeral, Marcellus. I watched them lower a casket with your name on it." He snorts, that infuriating ghost of a smile tugging at his lips. The scar slicing through his brow shifts with the expression, making him look even more dangerously beautiful. "Did you cry?" My mouth falls open. "Oh my God." His smile widens. "You did." "You psychopath!" "No welcome back hug?" he teases, spreading his arms slightly. "Or has my little wolf been living her life just fine without me? You didn’t even care that today's my death anniversary."

Derek pocketed his phone and turned, a smile spreading across his face. That smile held possessiveness and smug satisfaction, like he'd just won something. But it wasn't meant for me. I looked up and met his eyes just as that smile began to fade. That's when I knew for certain. He was D's Wolf.

His tobacco ridden breath washed over me, causing me to pull away from him in disgust. "I'm getting paid a lot of money to bring this wolf back alive. If this wolf is anything like that other one in the zoo, I'll be a rich man. No little small-town girl is going to ruin that for me because she wants to save the stupid mongrel." As if to mock the wolf, he growled at me. A smug crooked smirk slipped onto his face in victory as he leaned away.

"Why just smile, honey? Are you imagining how to be. . . ow " Irawan then stroked his arm which was pinched by Saskia. He smiled then kissed the face of Saskia who looked at him without paying attention to the gazes of all the guests. Why are you always teasing me? I'm ashamed to hear your request. I think you got that smile from me,” Fred praised. With that, the man, who was so quiet at the side, suddenly let out a boisterous laugh. “Bwahahahahahahahaha!” Fredd glared at him. But the sharp gaze of his has barely stop his chuckles. “I’m sorry,” he apologized with giggles, then covered his mouth while his shoulder went up and down simultaneously.

His wolf chuffed and replied, even if last night was a bit hassled, we have the rest of our lives to make it up. Rick smiled at that. “Why are you smiling?” Reine asked. Rick noted that her voice was sultry, a bit dreamy in fact as he rubbed the napkin over her opening. “Can I not smile for no reason?” he asked. She chuckled. The sound of her soft laughter stirred something deep from within his being. “only… rabid wolves… smile and laugh for no reason.” She said. “Rabid?” he asked, wringing the napkin and giving her skin one last dry wipe. “I'll show you rabid.” He growled, dropping the bowl on the floor and slithering up the bed. “I will show you rabid,” he repeated.

I want to kill him; I don't care if he's my friend or one important werewolf in the Pack. "How dare you mess around with her?" Jake chuckles, pulling himself up to his feet, he wipes the blood away from his nose and lets out another wide smell. I crease my brows, I frown latching on my face. Does he smile? Does he fucking smile? "You're smiling?" I grit out, edging closer to him. How dare he smiles? Is this a joke to him? I've never messed with his mate and he dare messed with mine just for him to be fucking smiling.
