I deadpanned with a blank look, and she laughed awkwardly. Next to greet me was Fiona, the only one that is genuine with her actions toward me. She's older than me, and I'm the youngest. Fiona is an artist who chose her passion over a stable job like mine. "Ignore the bitches. You look great, darling!" Her extrovert self beamed before hugging me tight, and I smiled before returning her hug with equal enthusiasm.

Fiona's pov When I slid past the glass doors of Halbart and Rowe Finance Company, the receptionist was already awaiting my arrival. "We've been expecting you, ma'am." She greeted me with warmth. I returned her smile as she showed me to the boardroom...which I already knew but I allowed her to lead me instead...again.

She reassured me We left for lectures. We got to the class and one of the lecturers came in “ we have a new students in our midst” she said The blond and pretty girl walked in. Most of the boys are drooling for her. Mel turned to me “ she is the council leader's daughter.
