We run through the forest, but it’s not the same thrill it used to be. Ash lets out a mournful howl. The ache never relents. She runs along the border, only stopping when she catches the scent of Aurora Flame. A dark figure stands near the border. Ash takes a fighting stance, but the figure holds his hands up in defeat. She growls as he moves closer to us. The figure steps into the moonlight, sending relief over Ash and me.

I placed the book on the table, untied the knotted twigs, and slowly opened the book. I immediately closed my eyes and even used my arm to protect it from the bright light that came from the book. Then I go to the comiXology app and open the comic I had added into my library last day- the comic Theo drew- 'Fireflies'. I started reading the book and pretty soon got immersed in it. It was a love triangle between a girl and two guys, and like he said, it was more like a manga. The male lead is the girl's childhood friend and the other guy is her long time crush. While her childhood friend helps her to get her crush to love her back, he's desperately crushing on her, knowing his feeling are unrequitable. This was a cliche plot and I myself have read a lot of books, both mangas and novels with this same plot but it still felt interesting to read. Especially in my current situation, it felt
