Liam strode slowly toward Yousef, and with every footstep, Yousef felt as though he was inching closer and closer to death. Finally, Liam curled his hand around Yousef's neck and lifted him from the ground. His feet dangled in the air helplessly as Liam stared at him with a cold look. Their eyes met—Liam's cold and merciless, Yousef's panicked and aghast. "Mr. Bristow, who do you think will be the one turned into fish food now?"

End Cassius's POV I had to remove myself from the room after I said that to Asher. He is the worst of the dragons that live in the palace, so I wasn't lying. Conner’s dragon, Caleb, is the only one of the three who has attempted to show me any type of civility. He still left me alone in the forest once, but he did look conflicted about following Asher’s orders. They all have a lot to learn about humans; Asher the most. Yes, compared to any immortal, humans are weak but we are resourceful, and will fight back if we are pushed too far. I think I have been pushed too far.

“Jane, at a time like this, shouldn’t you be thanking me? After all, when you’re reduced to ashes, you’ll have to beg me to graciously collect what’s left of you.” My fingers slipped off the blistering steering wheel. Just as my consciousness was about to cut out, a frantic male voice pierced through the comms. “Thomas! Why hasn’t Jane’s signal come back yet?!” It was the team manager! Drawing strength from somewhere I didn’t know I had, I clutched the comms tightly and screamed with the last of my energy. “Second stage, undeveloped sector! The car is on fire, about to explode! “Requesting immediate emergency rescue!”

"Who are you?" Yosef whispered, "I studied under Master Cloudwalker, Sir Cromwell used to call me Yosef." Hamza heard that, he glanced at his grandson. His grandson, obviously wasn't happy. That means this Yosef guy was up to no good. Hamza took a moment to size up everyone around him. He didn't believe in Environmental Energy practice, but just by looking at their expressions, he could tell that they were of high status. I came for Amelia from their family!

Ysabella waved at me smiling as if she’s happy to see me. “Hey,” I waved back giving her a fraudulent smile. Ysabella flicked her hair before eventually climbing on the truck’s passenger seat along with her twin brother Yoseff. Yoseff to me was kind of the introvert person in the whole group even though I haven’t really talked to him that much. Unlike his twin sister, he doesn’t smile a lot and only speak when spoken to. It’s honestly bizarre to see him look a lot like the guy version of Ysabella and yet a complete opposite of personality.

"I did all I could to protect her when I could. When I couldn't and she wanted to leave this world, the last thing I could do was grant her wish." Harper said with a sly grin, "If it weren't for Yaxley and Chase causing trouble... But I heard you're planning a new deal with them?" "We've just taken care of a big problem together. Of course, we need to work closer to make our bond stronger," Yosef replied without a hint of feeling. His voice was as empty as a blank page, making it impossible to tell if he was happy, angry, sad, or joking. Even Ophite and Harper, his friends for years, could not tell if he was being honest or if he was mocking.

Yosef initially wanted to accompany Yvonne to fly back home, but after the factory incident last time where a worker took him to court for unreasonable trouble, he could not leave the country as a defendant. Yosef was very anxious he could only call Zachary. Zachary jumped with anger when he heard Yosef said Jade brought Leo back home. “What’s the matter with you? Didn’t you promise me to take good care of Yvonne and Leo? How could you simply let that crazy woman Jade take him away?”

Unfortunately for Jeremiah, his happiness could only last for a brief second, as Jayden Blackfrost came to father Joseph and told the old man the most disturbing piece of information. “Father Joseph, I want to tell you something,” Jayden paused, he then looked at Jeremiah and pointed his finger at him, “father Jeremiah is actually my soulmate and I am planning to bring him back to Blackfrost kingdom.” And with Jayden’s words, Jeremiah’s happiness quickly went south. ***

She fastened it around her neck and held Liam one final time. "Now go. Be happy," he whispered, then dissolved into the air as she wept. Hugged the elder and then she left. Callum’s estate Chloe stepped into the room, and Arran turned from the window to face her. She crossed the space in a few quick strides and threw her arms around him, but the weight of everything suddenly hit her.
