Toying with someone's mind and keeping them in my palm was what hooked me. When I was in school, I chose to live in the dorms whenever possible, just to shape the people around me. The dorm I lived in during middle school was never at peace. Sudden injuries and even deaths kept happening. I drifted among them, watching their families weighed down by pain, guilt, and grief, and I felt a rush like nothing I had felt before. When we were assigned dorm rooms in college, the moment I first saw Jacob, I knew that he was just like me, a natural-born sociopath. But he was my prey.

Should it be Lucas who looked like he could snap my neck or Eric who I had used? Getting back to my room, I saw Hayley with that book again, it was as if she was obsessed with it. Seeing me, she immediately closed it. The bold words ‘Initium omnia’ stared back at me. Lucas had said it meant “‘beginning of all”. The heavy leather binding book seemed to pulse with hidden energy, as if alive. Hayley got a call, leaving the room. Seizing my opportunity, I opened the book. The first word I saw was “vampires.” “Vampires?! I whispered, shocked. The book talked about vampires and other creatures I never knew about. Then I spotted a drawing, it was a fox with nine nails. Before I could read one more

My instincts screamed at me to turn back, but I ignored them. I reached out. The second my fingers brushed the book’s surface, a violent shudder tore through me. The world around me vanished. Fire. The vision struck hard and fast, like a blade to my mind. I saw flames swallowing the land, smoke choking the sky, the ground trembling beneath the weight of something monstrous. Shadows moved through the fire, writhing, shifting, forming grotesque shapes—creatures unlike anything I had ever seen. Wolves fought against them, their howls lost in the chaos. A battlefield soaked in blood.

Morticia sighed lightly, "Forsythe, there's something I'd like you to do for me. This is a serious matter; you must not take it lightly." She took out a secret manual. The cover was handwritten with the title, 'The Bloody Fiend's Tome'. It was clearly written recently by Morticia herself. Her exquisite face showed seriousness.

In 1983 a Mrs Carson of New York was laid out in our coffin, presumed dead of hear disease. As mourners watched, she suddenly sat up, alive as you or I. Unfortunately her daughter dropped dead of fright on the spot. I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon. Observing it he quirked a questioning brow at the title. Murderous case files, a thriller mystery book he had read years ago. Mainly consisting of gore and graphic details of killing he had dropped it, never even getting past the first chapter. If he recalled the very first sentence described a horrific scene of a man who had cut his wife's throat. Many would have stopped reading at the very first scene yet for some reason this woman was so intrigued with the book that she had nearly forgotten she was conversing with me. How interesting. The more I learn about her the more she seems to shock me.

Alina I watched in horror as the thing sitting on the throne moved its head to look down at me. Just like in my dreams, this monster was made up of only flesh and bones, but his condition seemed far worse. Maggots crawled out of the hollow spaces that were the eyes, staring out of a skeletal face. Muscles and skin hung loose on the exposed parts of his body. There was blood dripping onto the floor in a constant rhythm, and his clothes were drenched in it. But the most horrifying fact was the number of bodies that were scattered all around him. I tried and failed to keep the bile down my throat and ended up retching at the sight of half-rotten corpses of hundreds of men and women that lay sca

She snatched the book from Zahir. That was the first time I was having a clearer look at the book, “but it’s so beautiful… Can I see it?” “S-sure. Here,” she handed me the book. As soon as I touched the books, there was a sharp pain in my head. My ears went numb for a few seconds, but in those few seconds I heard agonising screams, screeches that could tear a soul, cries for help, shouts all mixed and ringing in my head. Some strange images flashed in front of my shut eyes of something that looked like a massacre.
