The bedside tables are moulded directly from the concrete walls, with two small, metal sconces above them.
Across the room, an open door reveals a sleek shower—thank the Goddess, an ensuite. I was half-expecting to share with a dozen others.
Next to the bathroom, along the corridor wall, there’s a massive built-in wardrobe with four double doors. Damn. That’s bigger than I thought it would be.
By the window, two armchairs sit facing out. Black, round, like oversized bubbles. They look weirdly comfy. I hope they’re not secretly concrete too.
