Rose's mouth was ablaze with the smell of fresh blood. Her eyes flushed suddenly, revealing her fangs, and she bared her teeth. Rose shrieked in shock and held her head tightly in her hands as she rolled around on the icy ground like an animal. She took a few steps back and then a few steps forward while growling and glaring at Miren. The elders nodded but the fear remained in their eyes as they watched their King slowly slip away and the unholy monster begin to take his place.
